Akon... Where You At?

Akon's is turning out to be the worst paligamist ever... not like there's a good one out there anyway.

The attorney for Sara Coleman, who is one of Akon's baby mama's, is having one hell of a time trying to track the singer down to serve him with their demands.

"My client does not wish to comment on the paternity matter," attorney Patrick Baghdaserians said in a statement to E! News. "Ms. Coleman wants to ensure privacy and a amicable resolution. My client's goal is to resolve this matter forthwith without media intervention."

Coleman had a paternity test done which proved that Akon was the father of her child but Akon has yet to respond. He is, however, getting things in order on his end.

"Akon has taken responsibility and has been extremely cooperative and proactive in handling this private matter," the Konvicted artist's rep told TMZ. "Paternity was only established just over 30 days ago. Since the case was filed outside of Georgia jurisdiction, where he is a legal resident, Akon is currently in the process of engaging counsel in California and will continue to handle this matter in a timely manner."

This is not Akon's first child, and I'm sure it won't be his last. The singer has five other children and reportedly two wives.

Akon In Court For Assault On Fan

Akon will go to trial on criminal charges he tossed a fan offstage at a concert last summer in New York. The 35-year-old singer is accused of tossing a teenager off the stage during a June 2007 concert at a minor league baseball stadium near Poughkeepsie. Another concertgoer said she suffered a concussion when the boy landed on her.

Akon asked for the jury trial in Fishkill Town Court on Wednesday. He's due back in court Dec. 1. He pleaded not guilty in December to misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment, a violation.

True indeed, he shouldn't have been tossing anybody off of a stage, and I'm still trying to figure out why the boy just didn't leave the stage the normal way. But if you go to a concert shouldn't you be aware of what's happening? It's like going into a mosh pit and suing the band because you got stomped the hell out. You knew what you were getting into before you went. If there are hoards of people around you, expect the unexpected!
