Techy Talk: Samsung Anycall Haptic

If you thought the Apple iPhone was amazing, then feast your eyes and fingers on this phone from Samsung. Dubbed the Anycall Haptic, the phone features a large touch screen display just like the iPhone. But it does Apple's revolutionary gadget one better, at least for now: It enables users to feel clicks, vibrations and other tactile input. In all, it provides the user with 22 kinds of touch sensations.

Centered around a 3.2-inch screen, the phone includes DMB, a 2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.0. Haptic feedback in the form of vibrations help out with the UI, and home screen is customizable with widgets. The phone also includes a terrestrial broadcast TV receiver. The feature set seems to be squarely targeted at the consumer, but the price sure ain't -- the phone is launching in Korea starting at 700,000 KRW and ramping up to 800,000 KRW ($700 to $800 US).

I guess now, when you're on the phone with your boo... you can really mean it when you say "I'm feelin you!"
