After a totally unnecessary brawl for it all at his cousins funeral, The Game went on "The Nutz In The Morning" on Power 98.3, and told how one of his grieving family members was so pissed that the rapper only offered to pay for the casket and flowers, that the bereaved cousin actually brought gang members to the funeral, hit him up for "the cheese" at the funeral and ultimately threw the shove that ignited a violent war ... at the funeral!
All this mess don't make no sense. Fighting at a funeral over who's going to pay for what? Game paid for the casket, which usually runs around $1500, and the flowers, which aren't super expensive but still can get pricy. But big cuzzo wanted Game to pay for the whole thing! See, when you have money, your fam expects you to pick up all of the expenses, which I don't agree with. But figthing, I mean physically fighting... oh hell naw!
Jesse Jackson is once again trying to steal somebody elses' shine. Even though he has been a staunch Barack Obama supporter, it was leaked, from an interview that Jackson did with FoxNews over the weekend, a "private" conversation that Jackson had saying "See, Barack's been talking down to black people ... I want to cut his nuts off." *SAY WHAT???* I know that ain't the Reverend talking like that? For shame!
We all know how FoxNews has beens spinning everything that is about Barack Obama, but this time, they're on the money by showing what a hypocrite jackass he is. Jackson went on CNN today to apologize and said that his remarks were "crude and hurtful". During his interview, dude ducked and dodged what he really said, but kept talking about the movement in the 60's and how times have changed, blah blah blah... get to the point dude!!! Man up and admit your mistakes. You don't say a conversation is "private" and wasn't meant to be heard by anyone else... damn sure not when you're on the set of FoxNews and you're micked up. I'm sure it was released by the person that was transcribing the tapes.
Of course Barack, via campaign spokesman, Bill Burton, accepted Rev. Jackson's apology, and I'm sure he took it with a grain of salt. But not Jesse Jackson, Jr., who is an Illinois Senator, and co-chair of Baracks campaign. Jr. released this statement from his office today: "I'm deeply outraged and disappointed in Rev. Jackson's reckless statements about Sen. Barack Obama, his divisive and demeaning comments about the presumptive Democratic nominee -- and I believe the next president of the United States -- contradict his inspiring and courageous career. He also added that he'll "always love" his father. But, he said, "I thoroughly reject and repudiate his ugly rhetoric."
The reason why the elder Jackson made the comments was that he was in a conversation with another guest on the show during a break, and he stated that he felt that Barack had been talking down to black people just as the instance when Barack spoke on fathers day at a church and called for black men to stand up and become better fathers. Jackson stated that there are more issues facing the black community than moral one and that his message to black voters must be broader.
You can't just let the man try to uplift huh Jesse? You got to go and nit-pick his every word? It's not like he went and called blacks or anyone else lazy and shiftless, and good for nothing. He just called for men all over... black, white, hispanic, asian, whatever, to step up to the plate and do your damn jobs! Point. Blank. Period.

During an interview with the ladies of Sirius Shade 45 “Lip Service,” Wyatt-Smith revealed relationships with Antawn Jamison and several other NBA players as well as the Mighty Mos. Unimpressed by Wyatt-Smith’s supposed quest to help other self-esteemed challenged skeezers, rapper Q-Tip interrupted the show to shut her down on air.
“You foul, you tried to sh*t on n*ggas. You foul! What is the music game coming to when a 66 year old actor comes out with a hip hop album? Well ask John Witherspoon... you know... "Pop" from the Wayans Bros Show, he's coming out with a hip hop album title 63 Cents.
Witherspoon's rapping album will be available on iTunes soon and will be listed under both genres. Featuring songs like “Don’t Nobody Go In The Bathroom,” and “Dance Now With Your Big Ole Ass,” Witherspoon takes credit for writing the majority of the lyrics on the new project. Also contributing to the album is the Detroit-born comedian’s brother Ron, who produced three tracks on 63 Cents and rapper Big K.
Despite previous collaborations in movies and videos with Kid-N-Play, Ice Cube, Jay-Z and others, don’t expect any guest appearances or even a stellar performance, Witherspoon warns. “It’s just me,” Witherspoon said in a recent interview. “It may not be the best rappin’ in the world, but it’s funny as hell. Former Heavy Weight champ and deadbead dad, Evander Holyfield, finally caught up on his child support payments today in court. Holyfield handed his sons mother Toi Irvin a $9k check for the back child support he owed and agreed to meet his other financial obligations within a month, including private school payments, health insurance and a college trust fund.
The 45-year-old Holyfield also agreed to pay some of the attorney fees for Kessler's client, Toi Irvin. The agreement was reached before a scheduled deposition and two days before a court hearing, at which Kessler was planning to ask for jail time if Holyfield didn't pay up.
Irvin went to court after Holyfield failed to make his scheduled $3,000 payments for May and June, apparently because of financial woes that also included the threatened foreclosure of his sprawling estate in suburban Atlanta. The only four-time heavyweight champion also missed a payment due July 1, but wrote a check for the entire amount this week, according to Kessler. Holyfield's luxury home, which was scheduled to be auctioned on the steps of the Fayette County courthouse July 1, was taken off the foreclosure list and is still occupied by the boxer.

A former Wu-Tang Clan member U-God, is afraid that associates of the group are trying to get him and he has asked the Jersey City police for protection. U-God, whose real name is Lamont Hawkins, contacted police on June 8 saying he’s suing the band for about $180,000 and he thinks that’s why various men in various vehicles have been following him from his Manhattan recording studio to his home in the Newport section of Jersey City, police said. He said that for the past two months cars with Pennsylvania, New Jersey or New York plates have followed him numerous times, but he didn’t contact authorities sooner because he distrusts police.
On one occasion he parked in the garage of his River Court building and when he walked out he saw two men get out of a car across the street, police said. One of them gestured toward his waistband as though threatening that he had a weapon, U-God told the cops. One time a driver tried to follow U-God’s vehicle into the garage, but was unsuccessful, he told police, adding that sometimes the drivers roll down a window and nod at him. The man who wrote “Kick Azz,” “I’m Talkin’ to You,” “Dance With a Gangsta,” “Ghetto Gutter,” “Rumble,” and “Heart of Stone” said he felt threatened and couldn’t take it anymore so he went to police for help.
He filed a suspicious persons report. No one has been charged, police said. U-God could not be reached for comment yesterday. U-God said he toured Europe with the Wu-Tang Clan in January and February and they owed him about $180,000, so he filed a lawsuit in Manhattan. U-God said he thinks the incidents may be in retaliation for the lawsuit. He told police he cannot identify any of the drivers that he said followed him.
Mariah Carey tells US Magazine, that she's finally ready to have children and she can't imagine her kids having a better father than cornball ass Nick Cannon.
"I couldn’t imagine anybody that I’ve ever met being a better dad," the singer, 39, says. She says she wants to raise their kids with a dose of reality. “You can get caught up in Hollywood-land or celebrity-land, and that’s maybe not the best thing for kids, ’cause they didn’t ask for it," she says.
"I really feel like it’s very important to be responsible and to think, 'Well, maybe if I do this it’s not the best thing for my child,'" she says. "You have to take a backseat a little bit, and as someone in the public eye,you’re not used to doing that."

Ludacris just signed a multi-million dollar deal with phone giant AT&T, making himself the first hip-hop act to land such a large contract with the company.
He’ll lend his likeness to online and TV ads promoting the service and he just wrapped shooting of his first commercial. "I had a lot a fun shooting this commercial,” Luda said. “If you like the AT&T commercials you've seen then you'll love this one."
The rapper plays a guy who doesn’t have AT&T phone service and misses an important call. The “phone,” also played by Luda, tells viewers exactly what he missed out on by not having service. His installment in the campaign will begin running next month.
On the music front, Luda’s putting the final touches on his sixth studio project, concept album Theater of Mind, slated for an October release. I'm not too geeked about buying that album. I've never been a fan of his. Well, I am when he's on somebody else's song, but his own stuff sucks! JMO!

But when you're a -ish talkin rapper who seems to not give a damn about anyone or anything else, it seems a bit of a hard pill to swallow. 50 Cent, who has recently been all up and through damn near every media outlet out there, tells MTV that since his custody battle and drama issues with his ex Shaniqua Tompkins, he hasn't been able to talk to or see his son like he wants to.
Tompkins filed a restraining order on 50 last month, just weeks after the blaze that burned down the home where she and her son were living. The order binds 50 from being on the same premises as Tompkins, which in turn, hurts him being able to see his son.
He told MTV.com: “I think he doesn’t want his mom to feel like he’s a traitor. The time I spent away is the time he developed this thing he’s afraid to break with her. There’s nothing you can do about that. This is the toughest thing I’ve had to face, because he’s my motivation.”And the hip-hop superstar is sad his son won’t be joining him on tour this summer (08) because of the custody situation: “In the summertime, for the first two years I was successful, my son has travelled with us on those tours. He was on the Rock the Mic Tour; he was on the Anger Management Tour. This summer, when he’s free, it’s, like, no communication. It’s tough.“I’m not going through a custody battle; just a transition. I’d like to be able to just see my baby.”

The Game has pissed off his family– big time! His family says the rapper had promised to finance part of his cousin’s funeral — but when it came time to pay up, they got stiffed!

But things got heated outside the church when the issue of the cash came up. Kirky says his cuz stepped to him and started a big ol’ fight, punching him in the face!
