Phylicia Rashad New Jenny Craig Spokeswoman

According to People magazine, Cosby mom, Phylicia Rashad has been tapped to be the next spokeswoman for Jenny Craig.

She joins the ranks of Queen Latifah, Kirstie Alley, and Valerie Bertinelli, who have all recently done their bid in representing for the weight loss organization.

“Jenny Craig confirms a new relationship with Phylicia Rashad,” a rep for the weight loss program told the mag. “We look forward to sharing the details at a press conference in late January.

While Phylicia is best known for her time on the long-running Bill Cosby comedy, she’s won a number of accolades off-screen – in 2004, she won a historic Tony award for her role in “A Raisin in the Sun,” the first time an African-American took the lead actress category.
