Chris Brown Becomes Reality

Next on the reality t.v. circuit... Chris Brown. He'll be joining the ranks of all the other musicians that are now getting their own reality television shows. Chris will be partnering with producers Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice, Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader) and J.D. Roth (Biggest Loser) to create a new dance competition series. They will both be the executive producers and plan to take the idea to the cable outlets next week according to Variety.

The show has yet to get a title, but it will center on the world of hip-hop and street dance culture, pitting contestants against one another in impromptu dance-offs. Chris Brown will appear in every episode to help determine which B-boy or B-girl moves on to the next round. The producers are developing the show as an hourlong performance series that will have an elimination episode as well. Brown would be at the center, although an as-yet-unnamed host and other judges may also be involved.

In terms of naming the show, it will most like include, "Chris Brown Presents" in the name. Can you say REHASH!!! How many more shows like this will we get. There's "So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox, "Randy Jackson Presents Americas Best Dance Crew" on MTV. But this is what get's the ratings I guess, and with a star like C.B., I'm sure it will draw in the viewers. I'm still trying to figure out whose idea it was to put Lil Mama as a judge for the MTV show. She is so wack.
