When I read this the other day, I said I wasn't going to post it, but then I thought, why not? Why not show America how low people will stop when it comes to stopping the inevitable.
As you all know, presidential hopeful Barack Obama was in Jeruselum last week and before he left, he and his campaign team made a pre-dawn stop at Jeruselums famous Western Wall. Obama placed a prayer he had written in the wall and bowed his head while a rabbi read a psalm calling for peace in the holy city. One worshipper chanted "Obama, Jerusalem is not for sale" and "Jerusalem is our land" as the Illinois senator stood at the wall, a relic of the ancient Jewish temple destroyed during Roman rule nearly 2,000 years ago.
Of course the visit was a public event. Obama offered to partake in the tradition of the Wall and place a prayer into its cracks. But once he took off the requisite skullcap and left, an imbasile pulled a folded piece of paper from a crevice in the ancient wall and offered it to the mass-circulation daily Maariv, which is a Hebrew language newspaper. The paper then published Obamas private note in it's paper on Friday under the headline "Obama's note," provoked a storm of criticism in Israel over an intrusion into his relationship with God.
Dag on right it's an intrusion!!! And how dare this paper publish something so private! This man was offering a prayer to the Lord to give him wisdom and guidance and to protect his family and that prayer was intercepted by people who hate him? For what? Did they think he was going to offer a violent prayer of death and damnation on Isreal? People never cease to amaze me!
