The NAACP Theatre Awards went down this weekend in L.A. at the Kodak Theatre.This was the Beverly Hills-Hollywood branch of the NAACP's 18th Annual event. Honorees included actress Vivica A. Fox and Fox television show “American Idol”. Actress Kimberly Elise (Set It Off, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Woman Thou Art Loosed) and Anthony Anderson (Meet The Andersons, Kingdome Come) hosted the show. Vivica was awarded the “Spirit Award”, while American Idol was recognized with the Service Award for their “Idol Gives Back” fundraising telecast.
Lisa Raye was there with a new do that I'm not quite feelin!

Malinda Williams was there in a dress that juuuuust wasn't quite right. It looks a lil too uncomfortable.
