Best Rapper Alive Goes To... U Kidding Me?

Over 920,000 voters named Detroit rapper Eminem "the best rapper alive"??? Did I miss something? Since when? Granted, yes dude is a serious lyricist, throw lyrics out and lets factor in time in the game, consistent albums, album sales, mixtapes out, who hustles the hardest, etc... I could go on and on, and I swear, I still wouldn't come up with this dude.

Not to mention that we already have two other dudes that are consistently on the grind and who consistently put out good music, and who are blazin the charts everywhere... Jay-Z and Lil Wayne. What about them?

Who exactly did VIBE poll for this? Every white suburbia out there? Surely not the black community all voted for Em??? What VIBE did was started this competition back in July. The pyramid of rappers was set up in a tournament style bracket format Voters weighed in with nominees like T.I., Rick Ross, Nas, and even recently back on the scene Joe Budden???? I don't quite understand the latter but whateve!

The competition came down to the final eight, with the top four MC's, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Eminem, and Andre 3000 left to go up against the underdogs. Unfortunately, Lil Wayne was beat by Ludacris *BIG WIDE EYED BLANK STARE*, Andre 3000 was defeated by Game *BLANK STARE AND A SLIGHT TWITCH*. What it all came down to was Jay and Em beating out both Luda and Game, and going head to head for the win.

The people spoke and Eminem came out the victor! Dude hasn't released jack since 04... are ya'll serious? I need a drink!

Joe Budden is serious on his "Mood Musik 3" mixtape (album), which is great that he got mentioned.

He goes down the emo-rap type road but he bars every single song. I been constantly rotating it since it came out. It has longevity, unlike other albums where you hear it the first time and already know all the lyrics with the rappers rhyming "dog" with "fog" and "pog" and "frog"

if you never heard his dark shit, try out "still my hood"

"Though you might have to raise ya gun, just to raise ya sums
This ain't the place you wanna raise ya son"
