Master P and Wal-Mart Sued By Pepe Jeans

According to reports, Pepe Jeans London LLC has slapped Master P and Wal-Mart with a trademark infringement lawsuit.

WDD Business is reporting that Pepe Jeans claims Master P and Wal-Mart are using their logo, a stylized P, for the rapper turned business mogul's clothing line.

As I previously posted, P made history earlier this year when he re-launched his P.Miller clothing line exclusively through Wal-Mart. He is the chain store's first African American hip-hop supplier.

"This is the makings of a great partnership with the number-one retailer in the world," P said at the time. "Wal-Mart is making a lot of opportunities available to minority-owned companies that are ready to do business with a big corporation. Together we're making it cool to shop for clothes at Wal-Mart." But Pepe is trying to put a stop to the brand and is seeking an injunction against the use of the logo, all profits and damages that ensued from infringing activities, legal fees, and unspecified damages.
