Techy Talk: Super Slim Illuminating Keyboard by Luxeed

With all of the latest technology coming from the East, I'm finding myself becoming more of a "gadget freak" now, more than ever. The latest craze, the Super Slim Illuminating Keyboard is what's hot right now. Based in South Korea the Luxiium Lighting and Technology company has introduced new eye candy in this keyboard by incorporating colorful lights and mood changes. Most of us are suckers for gadgets that come with pointless eye candy and needless distractions to help the day go quicker so I've quite warmed to this new keyboard.

Luxiim is known for illuminating lights and keys in their products, so this is nothing new for those who've been following their products. You can set the mood just right on your keyboard by personalizing each individual key with one of 512 colours, “be it a single hue, a spectrum rainbow or your very own creation,” as they put it on the website.

Colour ’skins’ can be downloaded from the company’s site, or users can make the keyboard their virtual canvas, by designing their own. And how about your keys dancing like mini disco session with music skins that “dance” to the music, as keys are triggered by whatever music you’re playing on your PC. I wonder how this would fair for those who love hevay metal???

Different skins can be assigned to each skin, and the brightness of each skin can also be adjusted, if so desired. In the company’s marketing pitch, Luxiium goes on about the keyboard being used to “relieve stress via colour therapy”, but we all know that most will purchase this because of it's aesthetics and just be entertained while pounding away on the keys.

As far as the pricing and availability... neither have yet to be announced, but you can catch some illuminated keys in action on their website:
