Idol Contestant LaKisha Jones Weds

This is the year of love I guess. Everybody is taking the big leap to the next level. LaKisha Jones, who finished fourth on season six's American Idol, got married on Sunday to financial advisor Larry Davis, 30 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Among the guest were, Idol alum Sanjaya Malakar, Melinda Doolittle, Gina Glocksen and Haley Scarnato all at the black and white-themed ceremony, which was held in the ForbesLife Penthouse Suite.

As the beaming bride made her way down the aisle to "Endless Love," friends and family watched on and clapped. Jones, 28, wore an Alfred Angelo strapless, beaded gown, Neil Lane jewels, and Stuart Weitzman shoes adorned with the couple's initials in Swarovski crystals.

LaKisha's 5-year-old daughter Brionne, who also wore an Alfred Angelo dress, served as the flower girl and junior bridesmaid.

LaKisha and Larry, who is 6-foot-6, met through a mutual friend in Houston, Texas where she lives. The couple plans to honeymoon in Barbados.

Jones impressed judge Simon Cowell during auditions. After she belted out Aretha Franklin's "Think," Cowell proclaimed, "I loved this girl." The singer recently appeared on Broadway in The Color Purple alongside Winans and Khan. Her single, "So Glad I'm Me" is scheduled to be released October 21.
