Port Arthur, TX rapper Bun B and NBA star Shaq are teaming up to feed the community this weekend in Houston. According to a Rap-A-Lot Records rep, the duo is working with charity group Feed The Children to supply 400 families with 20,000 pounds of food. Taking place in Houston, Texas, both entertainers are expected to be on hand to personally distribute the items and meet with guests. The event will take place at The Church of Bethels, where families will also be given free barbeque lunches as they have the opportunity to spend quality time with the celebrities. There will be no charge to visit as it is open to the public. It all goes down at 10:30 am this morning.
This is definitely a good look, especially for the hip hop community. It's always good to see that the money that is normally spent on skrippers and making it rain, instead is going towards an ever abounding problem in our country. Way to go guys! Two thumbs up! (Cooooooooorny)!
