According to longtime Jay-Z friend and Roc-A-Fella artist Memphis Bleek, "Jockin' Jay-Z" is only one of many gems that West has crafted for the MC. "Kanye just brought him a new beat called 'Brooklyn,'" Bleek told Billboard.com. "You know Jay though, he's always changing his mind. It's going to be a masterpiece though. Kanye gave him some beats where I told Jay that I'm hating on him for having them. The beats are like new rhythms with old drums. Just picture Jay-Z having four records like 'Encore."
If you recall, the track "Encore" was a fan favorite on Jay-Z's "The Black Album." Other producers including Sean C and LV, who produced several tracks on "American Gangster," have also hinted that they are working on the project. No date has been set for its release. Afterward, Jay-Z will begin recording for Live Nation as part of a deal he signed with the company this spring.
