The same dude that brought us the "nappy headed -oes" comment, in regards to the Rutgers University girls basketball team, is back at it again. This time, same issue (race) but he's claiming that he was being "sarcastic" and that he was trying to "defend" not "offend". The issue came about Monday on the air, when sportscaster, Wolf Warner, was talking about Adam "Pac Man" Jones, saying that the troubled baller wanted to change his nickname. Warner went on to say that Jones had been arrested six times since him being drafted by Tennessee in 2005, Warner stated. Imus then chimed in , "Well, what color is he?" "He's african american" Wolf responded. And Imus' response, "Well, there you go. Now we know."
"What people should be outraged about is that they arrest blacks for no reason, and I mean there's no reason to arrest this kid six times," he said. "They shoot blacks for no reason." This was Imus' rebuttle to what he was trying to prove by making his racist statement. Yeah, ya'll can believe that dude if you want to. We all, white and black, know what he was saying.
