We all know that fashion recycles itself every few years, decades, or what have you; But there is one trend (among many) that I wished I would have never seen again. The Skinny Jean... on guys! Geeeee-ross! I mean, back in the 80's it was cool because we knew no better as a generation. We had basketball teams with shorts up to their nuts, dudes sporting hair-dos in all kinds of angles, and even the cuts in the eyebrows, which has now re-invented itself again, but yet and still it was all going witht he trend.
Now, I think this generation double X has taken fashion to another level. The skinny jeans these boys are wearing nowadays could easily prevent them from having children in the future. Why would you want to hang with a guy who's pants are tighter than yours? Friends don't let friends strangle their nuts! Be a friend, and stop the madness!

I dont see the question here: Do men have to be complimentary to women? Just becuase they wear skinny, men shouldnt?
The reason for wearing them are same, as for Women. Yes, they dont work for every guy, just as they dont work for every woman. You need the body for it.
The same applies to the shorts you refer to. I personally despise the capri like shorts guys wear. Shorts were meant to be short (hence the name).
