Once again, it's Barack Obama who is being the "bigger person". This time, it's to bail out the woman and her husband who tried to damn near throw him under the bus. Barack has told Hillary that he would help her pay off her more than $20 million debt. Last night, at Washington's Mayflower Hotel, Barack Obama met with 200 of Hillary's top fundraisers. This was the a positive move for Obama who is trying to win over some of the Hillary supporters that are still lingering.
Barack personally wrote Hillary a check for $4600. The maximum individual donation that one person could give is $2300, so Barack gave the $4600 for himself and wife Michelle.
Some Clinton donors had been frustrated that the Democratic presidential nominee-in-waiting had not done more to help her pay the bills even as they are expected to help fund his campaign. But you know what I'm wondering? Truthfully, would Hillary have helped Barack out this way had the shoe been on the other foot? Would she go to the lengths that he has to do the stuff that he has done for her here recently? IMO... I highly doubt it.
