50 has filed a defamation lawsuit in Suffolk County Court against his baby mama Shaniqua Tompkins. The suit comes about because Shaniqua has been telling anybody who will listen that 50 is the one who set the blaze to the Long Island estate that he owned, but she was living in. Tompkins told reporters, “He’s upset,” Tompkins told reporters shortly after the inferno. “If he can’t have it, no one can. He said that he was gonna have somebody come kill me and watch what he does, and this is what he did.” In a statement to the New York Daily News, 50's lawyers stated, "There comes a point where you can no longer sit on your hands and listen to her spread these falsehoods," 50's lawyer, Brett Kimmel, told The New York Daily News. "Besides hurting his reputation, they have a damaging impact on their son." In the petition, 50 states that since the fire, Shaniqua will not let 50 know where she and his son are living and she is preventing him from seeing his son. 50 also states that after the fire, he sent his son a duffle bag full of clothes, along with a cell phone so he could call him. Currently, the only way he is able to talk with his son, is to call Shaniqua's phone, which has got to be a pain in the ass. The rapper also claims that on June 11, she allowed 50 to talk to Marquise, but all the while she stayed next to him and monitored the conversation, but after a while took the phone from the boy and began to yell at 50. Aside from all this other b.s., Tompkins is also violating their court ordered agreement for custody. What I'm trying to figure out is when this -ish first went down, how come he didn't drop what he was doing to go see about the boy? By no means am I saying he was involved, but my first concern after hearing something like this would be for my child! Right or wrong?
