In a lawsuit filed in a Bronx County Court, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, the victim who was shot by her "supposed" friend, rapper Remy Ma, is suing not only Remy, but the record label, and the pizza parlor where they were before the incident took place. She's claiming that Universal Records gained "financial profit and economic benefit from the unlawful, violent and anti-social conduct" of Remy Ma.
She's also saying that The Pizza Bar should have known better because Remy was already completely blitzed before they left, but they kept serving her drinks. Reps for Remy couldn't be reached for comment. We'll see how this turns out. I believe ol' girl just might get her comuppance.
