After long fight for equal rights, the California gay community has finally been given the thumbs up to wed as they please. The California Supreme Court ruled that the people have a fundamental right to marry the partner of their choosing. Great news for Ellen Degeneres and her longtime girlfriend Portia DeRossi. Ellen announced live on her show Thursday that with this decision from the courts, she can now make Portia an honest woman and marry her.
