Oprah Goes Vegan For 21 Day Diet Detox

Oprah has long been the full figured spokewoman leader on the best ways to diet and how to do it properly. She's starting yet another way to improve her health as well as ours. She's going vegan for a 21 day detox plan. During the 21 days there will be no animal products, caffeine, sugar, gluten, or alcohol.
As she embarks on this journey, O will be keeping a blog about her progress. Her website will also give recipes and meal plans for everyone to view.
Oprah got the idea from Kathy Freston's book Quantum Wellness and several online sessions with Canadian motivational speaker Eckhart Tolle. She says that the cleanse will give her a chance to think about her eating habits and what particular attachments she may have to food. Sunday was day one and she wrote on her blog: "I don't know if I'm going to feel better or worse, but I'm willing to try to see if my body at least feels different."
