The folks over at yahoo.com posted a blog about "Belt Busting Beverages" a few weeks ago. What they found was pretty astonishing. They found that a large portion of Americans were not taking in much food with heavy calorie content, but also found that those same people couldn't manage to lose the weight. The fact of the matter is, even though you may not be eating calorie ladden foods, you still may be comsuming drinks with high caloric and sugar content. According to the FDA, the average American takes in 82 grams of added sugars everyday. That's 20 teaspoons, which contribute an empty 317 calories into an already heavy daily load of food calories. Below I have listed the top five calorie heavy drinks on the market.
