Last night the self-proclaimed "King of the White Girls" was named "Songwriter of the Year" at BMI's 56th Annual Pop Awards which was held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles. Polow was honored due to his very successful career in 2007. Having done four songs that year that were on the top 50 which includes The Pussycat Dolls "Buttons", Fergie's "London Bridge", and "Glamorous", and Luda's "Runaway Love". Aside from Polow receiving his first "Songwriter of the Year" award, he also walked away with four others that night.
