*UPDATE* Philly Beating Takes A Twist!

Ok, so, in all fairness to myself, I can only report to you, the viewers of this blog, what I hear in the streets and on the news. *AHEM*, excuse me... with that, let me say that I was wrong in prejudging this situation and taking it at face value like most other bloggers and media outlets did. We only saw the initial video that showed officers brutually kicking and beating these three young men. But what we did not know until now was what led to the officers to behave in such a manner. It was the fact that undercover officers had witnessed these three men gun down three other suspected drug dealers on a corner in a drug infested Philidelphia neighborhood. These three men then got back in their vehicle and fled the scene. There was one person who escaped on foot from the scene and he is unknown at the moment. As usual, we took this story for what it was (initially) and ran with it! Not knowing the full details but knowing the all too familiararity of injustice and police brutality being rampant in most police precints. The media knew that there would be an immediate outcry to this situation and played on one, the black community, especiallly after the recent aquittal of the three officers in the Sean Bell case. I have to admit, I, myself, need to learn to not be so quick to fire off at the keyboard, but I have a duty to perform and that is to keep you, my loyal readers up to date with what's going on in your world.
