Boxer Sues Jay Z For $88 Mil

Here we go again ya'll... another unknown suing for big bucks. Jay Z has been slapped with a law suit by former boxer Mitchell Rose for "stealing his style of rhyming, delivery, and lyrics". Are you serious dude? Ok, I'll wait to give my comments until I fill ya'll in. So anyways, apparently Rose met Jay at a fight back in 2001 between Felix Trinidad and William Joppy. Rose says that he gave Jay his demo tape that evening and Jay told him that he would listen to it. Rose claims that immediately after that, he heard a song by Jay and noticed that Jay had jacked his style of "whispering" on the track. *SIGH* So now dude is suing for a whopping $88 mil and truly believes that he is going to get it. Rose, who is also a personal injury attorney, and is also from Brooklyn, has tried to serve Jay with papers at both 40/40 night clubs and has not gotten to Jay yet. Mitchell Rose is a former heavyweight boxer who is best known for his knock-out of "Butterbean" Esch back in 1995.

Rose told Allhophop.com: “He took the style and the delivery,” Rose told AllHipHop.com. “He’s using it on the regular, now Lil’ Kim is using it. All I want is justice. Jay-Z knows what I am talking about." Ok... so now we're suing over a damn whisper? So why doesn't he go after Ying Yang Twins too. I mean they did a whole damn song about whispering. Give me a break dude! With him being an attorney, he should know that to a judge, his lawsuit sounds frivilous. I mean, does he have the copyrights to "whispering"? I'd actually like to hear this demo just to see what dude is talkin about though. And was Jay Z the first person to eeeeeeeever whisper on a damn song? It's obvious Mitch ain't making no money off his career so he had to think of something to gain more income... so why not sue one of the most prolific rappers of our time? I'm just sayin!
