Located in Tallahassee Florida, right around the corner from Division 1 school Florida State University, you'll find Florida A&M University. A historical black college, that has been given the top honor of producing the most black-americans with four year degrees out of any other college in the United States. According to Diverse Issues in Higher Education, which ranked universities solely by the number of students who graduate during a school year, FAMU conferred bachelor’s degrees on 1,256 students in the 2006-2007 school year. FAMU boasts a student population of 13,000, and is the nations largest HBCU. This recognition is the second PR blast for the Florida university in recent years.
