Techy Talk: AT& T IPhone

Even though the new AT& T IPhone claims to be cheaper than the older version and it's becoming all the buzz in the tech world right now, it will still cost you a nice chunk of change. It's been touted as being cheaper, but it's actually not. The monthly service fee for the phone will be higher than anticipated. The phone will cost $10 more a month meaning that if you get a two year plan as AT&T requires, you'll come out paying an extra $240 over the life of the contract. For the users who have the older version of the IPhone, they are now paying $20 a month for unlimited internet and email use but can only send/receive 200 text messages with this plan. For those who will be foolish enough to purchase the new phone, they will pay $30 a month for the same plan, but it hasn't been disclosed if the text messaging will be part of the plan or if you'll pay an extra fee for that.
