Big news for all of you Nelly fans. Ya boy has just announced that he will be the new face of Sean John underwear ads. Nelly will be featured in the Fall campaign promoting Sean John’s collection of underwear and loungewear. The campaign, which was shot by Randee St. Nicholas, showcases Nelly in a modern home overlooking Los Angeles, while modeling the underwear. Sean “Diddy” Combs, founder of Sean John, hopes Nelly’s involvement will help boost Sean John’s earnings, which are pegged at about $525 million annually.

NYC's Hot 97 Fires Miss Jones

There are a lot of happy people in the entertainment industry right now. Hot 97 in NYC has fired their controversial morning host Miss Jones. Miss Jones, real name Tarsha Jones, is being replaced with Big Boy and MTV Entertainment reporter Luscious Liz Hernandez. “Big Boy has an unmatched reputation for being entertaining… he also has great relationships with artists,” said Hot 97 programming director Ebro Darden. “Putting Big Boy on Hot 97 in New York City helps keep the high standard of radio happening for us.”

According to Darden, Miss Jones will work all of next week which will allow her enough time to bid farewell to her listeners. “Miss Jones is one of the hardest working radio people I have ever seen and she made history with Hot 97,” said Darden. “Miss Jones will have the mic in mornings all of next week so that she is given her proper respect to tell her listeners how much she appreciates them and reminisce about how great this program has been.”

Miss Jones was recently named in a federal lawsuit filed by New York lawyer Kevin Hunter. It claimed rival radio personality Wendy Williams and her husband tried to hire a hitman to knock her off.

Jill Scott Is Hearing Wedding Bells Again!

My girl Jilly from Philly is taking a walk down the isle of wedding bliss for the second time. While performing at Carnegie Hall in NY, Jill made the special announcement during her show to a sold out crowd. Jill is now engaged to her boyfriend/drummer Jon Roberts. Once Jill began to sing a tear-filled intro to her signature song 'He Loves Me (Lyzel In E Flat),' the blond-striped coiffed musician emerged with a bouquet of yellow roses and kissed Ms. Scott after whispering sweet sentiments in her left air.

Jill was married to ex-husband Lyzel Williams for five years before they divorced in 2007. Congrats Jill!!!

Diddy Does Ciroc... And Ciroc Only!

Hip Hop music mogul/liquid courage entrepreneur Sean "Diddy" Combs is telling folks that, despite what you may have heard... Ciroc is his drink of choice. It's been rumored that Diddy has been seen partying it up and pouring it up with other brands of alcohol... other than the brand that he is spokesman for... Ciroc Vodka.

In a press release announced today, Sean “Diddy” Combs, says that he has given up champagne and tequila. “When I reach for a drink, I reach for Ciroc Vodka”. Combs said.
