Nelly Get's New T.V. Show

So word on the street today is that St. Louis hot body rapper Nelly has got himself another gig! Praise the Lord he's given up on the rapping (I hope)! He’s supposedly got a new television show that will be on one of the major networks, unknown as of now. Nelly will be the shows host it is titled, “Nelly’s Night in Vegas”. The show will be a weekly primetime show based in Las Vegas and showcasing major Hollywood stars. So it's a knock off of the CW's Pepsi Smash? Sounds like it to me. Will somebody please come up with a new reality concept? DAMN!

Nelly Comes Clean About Relationship With Ashanti

So we're no longer running with the "we're just best friends" storyline anymore huh Nelly? It's about time. I know that you didn't think we were all dumb enough to believe that one anyway.

After several years of ho-hum answers on his relationship with singer Ashanti, Nelly is finally letting his guard down about how he feels about her. The St. Louis rapper recently told People magazine that the reason why he and Ashanti have been able to maintain their relationship is because they just love to have a good time. They don't worry about what everyone has to say about them. They enjoy each others company.

"That's the thing between me and her, we just like having fun," he said Sunday at Las Vegas's Lavo club, where he was celebrating his 34th birthday.

Although Ashani was in Japan and couldn't attend the party, Nelly admitted that the two have been "hanging out for a minute." Which is a bit of an understatement, but we'll take it. When asked was the relationship serious, Nelly said, "I think it's always serious,” he said, “when you can hang with a person continuously ... and still have fun."

Earlier this summer, Ashanti would only call Nelly a "good friend." But, she coyly told PEOPLE, an engagement could "definitely be in the future."

Nelly's Brass Knuckles A Flop

You know, I wish rappers would just catch a freakin clue when it's time to call their musical career a wrap! Let's take our favorite St. Lunatic Nelly for example. His latest album, "Brass Knuckles" is a flop in every sense of the word. As of today, it's only sold 43k copies, and I'm hella suprised it even sold that much. Of course we all know that you can blame bootleggers and internet downloading sites for a reduction in artists sales, but c'mon. We see that it's somewhat possible by looking at what Lil Wayne pulled off with The Carter III.

My advice Nelly... run into the sunset with this Sean John modeling thing. Maybe you need to drink some more of the Pimp Juice stuff you were tryin to push years ago. It seemed to work for you then... well on second thought, are you even still making that crap? Nix that idea then!
