I'm actually glad somebody had the balls besides Samuel L. Jackson to say it but it's not like it will help. Nia Long recently did an interview with U.K. magazine "Pride" and had a few things to say about those who are not "skilled" actors/actresses.“If you’re a singer not an actress, you should sing. If you’re a rapper, you should rap,”
In the July issue of the mag, Nia was asked about Beyonce's performance in the movie "Obsessed" and had this to say:
“I didn’t see ‘Obsessed,’ so I can’t comment, but it’s just not about how talented you are anymore. It’s about, ‘How much box-office revenue will this person generate?’ When you see certain people – we won’t name names – they just don’t have the skill, and no one in their team has said, ‘You need acting classes,’” Long replied.
I'm not even mad because she's right. Even though she didn't name any names, we know she's talkin about Bey and truth be told, she CAN'T act. Even Idris Elba slipped up during an interview and told the world what he really thought of Beyonce’s acting. It must be something in the water lately. First The Game is dissing Bey and now Nia???
Things that make you go hmmmmm....
