Don't ask, don't ask. But I thought it was perfect to signify the HIV/AIDS Awareness movement that is going on. This piece by Guillermo Vega is entitled "Be Careful". The ad is for a Tulipan condom campaign.
Summerfest went down in South Florida over the weekend. Weezy was the headliner and he put on a hell of a show as usual. Keyshia Cole and her no singing/dancing behind was there, T-Pain and all of his foolery was there, and so was Akon.
You can't do nothing but respect a man who tells you to your face that he doesn't like the things that you're doing right? I've always liked Trevor Smith (Busta Rhymes). He's always so jolly...lol!!! Well that's how the Game feels about fellow rapper Busta Rhymes. Game recently did an interview with MTV and talked with them about his relationship with Busta.
The Game describes an encounter that he had with Busta in an airport and says Busta has often told him straight out "Son! I don’t like what you’re doing. I don’t!" and then he just walks off.” They had a five hour flight together and they didn't speak the entire flight. Upon arrival, Busta comes up to Game and says, “Be safe out here. I don’t like what you’re doing!” According to Game, Busta just walked off after that and that was the last time they spoke “He didn’t talk to me for a year,” Game elaborated. “I calmed down. Seen Busta at the BET Awards in Atlanta. He said, ‘Son! I like what you’re doing. “One Blood”! You back.’ I got a hug from Bus. The reunion.”
Since, the two have become associates again and Game even has Bus on his new album L.A.X. Game says it's all about keeping it 100 (true at all times). “It’s about friendship. You can’t change friends, no matter what. Before he does anything [with me in the studio], he asks me, ‘Where’s my mind at? What am I on?’ [He tells me,] ‘Busta Rhymes is not gonna be a part of no negative stuff.’ All right.”
Fantasia partied the night away on Saturday here in the ATL at three different spots for her birthday. A few friends and family members came out to help out Southern Diva celebrate in style. Among the guests were former members of Xscape Tiny, and Kandi, Trey Songz, the whole Grand Hustle Crew along with her boo Dro and a host of family and friends. Ya'll know how much I love Fantasia and Dro together. They're my Beyonce and Jay-Z.
Jay-Z, along with Lupe Fiasco, and Estelle and others, made history over the weekend by performing at the Glastonbury Festival in the U.K. Jay came out with a guitar, attempting to poke a jab at Oasis front man Liam Gallagher who said that hip hop had no place at the festival and shouldn't be allowed. It don't even matter though, cuz Jay rocked the house doing several of his greatest hits from his albums! I'm sure the brits who didn't like it were pretty pissy! Who cares!
So the folks in Florida are anti-Obama huh? Wow!!! But, who cares really. Get over it already. The dude is the democratic nominee and he ain't going anywhere anytime soon.
Anyways, the reported incident occured at the Orlando City Hall in Orlando, Fl. More than 60 vehicles were spray painted with things like "Obama smokes crack", and other racial slurs. But the kicker, is that the vandals left business cards of supporters of Hillary Clinton. Of course the Clinton camp came right back and issued this statement: "There's no tolerance for this kind of activity in the political process. Hillary Clinton strongly supports Barack Obama and urges all of her supporters to do the same." I refuse to believe that Hillary or any of her people would stoop this low. I know they're still a little bitter, but are we 16?

The often outspoken songstress Erykah Badu, is the new face of White Patchouli, which is the new fragrance by Tom Ford.
In a picture that is reminiscent of an early 80's Diana Ross, Erykah channels her sexy/desirous side to push the international icon's product. This ad campaign is Ms. Badu's first of it's kind. It is however pretty surprising that Erykah is pumping somebody else's oils, other than something of her own.
Patchouli is a fragrance is can be smelled buring at more environmental, hippie, or early rock events. It is definitely something that Erykah would promote though. Congrats to the girl for that!
I completely understand that the celebs want to keep some things private in their lives. Namely, their marriages and what not... but why? Especially when you've just had a baby together, you're living together, and you're seen together all the time. I mean dang, the only thing missing is official announcement of the marriage. But when you're out and about sporting a wedding band, you can't get mad if media outlets begin to speculate on your relationship.
I, for one, am not surprised to see that Halle actually sports a wedding band. I just want to know if her and Gabe actually went and did the damn thang and tied the knot. She's such a beautiful lady and I know she's said that after her last few horrible relationships, that her and Gabriel decided not to get married but to just be "committed" to one another. I just want to see Ms. Berry happy! Is that too much to ask? I'm not saying that she's not, i'm just sayin!!
Twenty-year-old model Ruslana Korshunova jumped to her death from the ninth-floor balcony of her New York City apartment in an apparent suicide Saturday. There were no signs of a struggle inside Korshunova's downtown apartment police told The New York Post

The 5-foot-8 model from Kazakhstan, 20, was dubbed, "The Russian Rapunzel," for her long, flowing hair. She graced the covers of French Elle and Russian Vogue, and appeared in ads for March Jacobs, DKNY, Vera Wang and Christian Dior.
In recent months leading up to this timultuous event, Korshunova ranted about love and life on a website saying, "I'm a witch. I don't care what you say!!! I know what it is. I know why my other relationships didn't work out, 'cause I'm unpredictable. Why are you afraid of it?" This post was written by the Russian beauty on March 11. And in another post dated May 30, she wrote, "Do not confuse love and desire, Love is the sun, desire - only flash. Desire dazzles, and the sun gives life." Poor girl. It's sounding like she was utterly confused and didn't know where her life was going. Either way, it's all too tragic.
Model and actress Joy Bryant wed her fiance, David Pope, Saturday June 28, 2008 in Amagansett according to People.com. The couple, who announced their engagement in October 2007, initially said they were planning on a fall wedding, but opted instead for a summer affair.
The bride wore a custom Missoni gown, designed by her friend Angela Missoni, and accessorized with a fresh gardenia. The groom donned a suit by Calvin Klein Collection. The duo said "I do" in front of about 100 guests at a private beachfront estate before celebrating at the reception where Bryant changed into a floral Missoni minidress.
Bryant, 31, appeared in the 2006 film Bobby and the movie Get Rich or Die Trying with rapper 50 Cent. Pope, 37, is a movie stuntman.
Kim Kardashian and the clan, helped baby sister Khloe celebrate her 24th birthday last night in Las Vegas at Pure Nightclub. The party seemed to be a pretty nice turnout, as expected for anything that that Kim is going to make an appearance at. It's sad though. How you always look for Kim when the event is about one of the other sisters. Oh well! Celebs in the house included Young Jeezy, New Orleans Hornets Chris Paul, Reggie Bush (of course), Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon (of course), and Lauren London.
