Asher Roth Had Food Poisoning

We always hear about how all the celebs are caught out eating at the famous Nobu restaurants around the country and abroad... well, rapper and longtime college student Asher Roth says he won't let a nasty little bout with food poisoning from the restaurant deter him from going back.

The Morrisville, PA rapper canceled an MTV appearance when, Roth says, he became sick from raw red snapper, but adds wild horses couldn’t keep him from the high-end sushi joint. “I’d absolutely go back,” he said at SoBe’s Summer Friday party. “Their stuff is the best.”

Tyra Shows Up To Miley's Show To "Surprise" Her

Can someone explain to me why Tyra is so egotistical? Of course I get the fact that she was once a supermodel. I get that. Now you're a talk show host. I get that too. And I even get that fact that you have created your own show for aspiring models. Kudos Tyra!

But what I don't get, his how you bust into a sixteen year olds birthday party at Disneyland, to give her... "a surprise gift"

I'm sure you're tripping with angst to know what that gift was, so i'll tell you. Tyra gave Miley Cyrus, for her sweet sixteen... a framed picture of who else... Tyra Banks! *Eyebrows raised in utter confusion*

Maybe Tyra was trying to give some subliminal inspiration to Miley by insinuating that in about 15 or so years, she too can reach the pinnacle of success that Tyra has. That one day she'll have all the riches and glory and the money and the power to do what she wants? You think that's what she was saying by giving a picture of herself?

How much more narcassitic can you be T.B.? But yet, little Ms. Cyrus in fact, at this moment in time richer and more powerful than Tyra. Forbes placed Miley the 35th most powerful celeb in the world while Tyra host ranked at 68! How 'bout them apples!

Ne-Yo Caught Fakin The Funk?

No, not really, but a party promoter was. SOME nightlife promoters are so desperate to fill their parties, they'll even put a fake performer onstage.

On a recent Sunday night, the promoter group Party at NYC, rented out the club Mansion, on West 28th Street, and sold tickets to a Ne-Yo concert. Too bad the crooner already had a gig and was around the corner, hosting a party at Guest House, on West 27th. One source said tickets to the fake Ne-Yo concert "were sold for $20 in advance and $35 for VIP seats." At about 1:30 a.m., the promoters "said Ne-Yo is in traffic and will be here in 45 minutes. Then, 20 minutes later, the audience was told Ne-Yo was there. Then they put a fake Ne-Yo onstage, but it didn't work, so they finally said Ne-Yo was stuck in the Gulf of Mexico." A rep for the performer told Page Six, "Ne-Yo was never confirmed to perform at club Mansion that weekend, and there was never a performance scheduled or any contracts signed for Ne-Yo to appear."

Well damn! How do you put a "fake" Ne-Yo on stage? Out of all people to have a double... Ne-Yo? Yakkety Yak!

Bow Wow & Angela Simmons Back Together?

In a nice little cozy world, this would be good to hear because the news that I heard the other week of Bow Wow supposedly being sought after by Supahead was not the biz! I would hate to think that he would go to someone so trashy and used up... literally!

Young Jeezy Registers To Vote

Young Jeezy arrived yesterday (Sept 4) in his sky-blue Lamborghini during a voter registration drive his company sponsored at Justin's Restaurant in the Buckhead section of Atlanta. At the event Jeezy didn't spare the people in promoting his new album The Recession as well. It's a great thing to see though. Despite what everyone's intentions are, I'm glad to see a lot of our young generation excited about politics. Jeezy even registered to vote at the event too!

Vanessa and Angela Simmons...

This is a first... and a complete and utter shock... to my eyeballs! What the 1980 Cyndi Lauper mess is this? I have yet to see Vanessa and Angela Simmons come out of the house looking tattered and battered, and damn sure didn't expect to start seeing it now! But I guess whatever get's the attention. I just hope they don't become media whores. I love'em and all but really! I'm half ass tempted to put them as my "Fashion WTF"... but I won't because they're still cute!

Jennifer Hudson attended the grand opening of the Kwiat flagship boutique on Madison Avenue in New York City yesterday (Sept 3). The 26-year-old singer recently sang the National Anthem at the Democratic National Convention as requested by Presidential candidate Barack Obama. Jen’s new self-titled album is set to drop on September 30. The album’s first single “Spotlight” was written and produced by Ne-Yo and Stargate.

I gotta say, this look is really flattering on Jennifer. She looks really nice!

Mos Def Isn't Camera Friendly

I've always thought that celebs need not spazz out when someone takes their pictures... especially when it's in a public place. To hop over the walls of someones home or completely invade thier privacy on that persons on property is definitely a no no; But when you're at a public event... I'm sorry buddy but, you're fair game!

Well I guess a pap had to learn that the hard way in Las Vegas. According to reports, Mos Def was in Vegas for the Magic Convention and upon his entrance into the event, someone snapped a pic. Now most folks in the industry know that Mos Def isn't a big fan of people taking his pictures without his consent, so I'm guess that whoever the person is was either new to the game, or maybe just a fan, who knows.

Once the picture was taken, all hell broke loose. Mos Def flipped out on the photographer. According to witnesses, he began yelling "Everyone knows I don't take pictures!" Well obviously this dude didn't. Anyway, Mos allegedly grabbed the camera and ended up breaking it and somehow the photog ended up bloody too. It's also being said that Mos gave him fair warning.

As expected, the photog reportedly plans to sue Mos Def. Mos was supposed to make an appearance at the event, but instead just bounced. I'm lost though. Why don't you want your pictures taken? Didn't YOU sign up to be a celebrity? Who the hell are you hiding from Dante?

I get soooooooo sick of this chick dressing like she's still 18 and she's damn near 50...ok ok... i put too much on that, but ya'll know what I'm sayin! Why is it that EVERYWHERE she goes, she dresses like trash. Never classy and covered up. Does she realize that they make nice sexy clothes that cover you up but still show enough? She's killin me! Whatever! Anyways, Mariah Carey had her behind at the MTV TRL studios and folks caught a glimpse of the wackness up close and personal.

I'm not quite sure if this picture is photoshopped or not *Jesus let it be photoshopped*, but I can't figure out why ol girl would sport her stretch marks like this. We all know that as women, we hate them. She would be the first, if this pic is factual, to sport them with pride like this. Mya and Adina Howard Hit The Stage

Two has-beens resurfaced this past week and both in the same place. Mya and freak of the week, Adina Howard took to the stage at Stir in Charlotte, N.C. I don't know about ya'll, but I'm not feelin neither one of the looks on these chicks. I do like Mya's top (notice I said like, not love), but not with those shiny ass tights. I don't like nothing that makes your camel toe more evident... geeeeeeross! As for Ms. Adina... No SUH!!! What's up with the Erykah Badu Wig? Not hot. Some folks need to know when to say when!

T.I. Taken Out Of Club After Fight Breaks Out

Last night here in Atlanta, rapper and my secret crush T.I. was set to perform downtown at the Luckie Food Lounge, but was promptly taken out of the spot when a fight broke out.

T.I. was taken out of the club around midnight by his security and his court appointed monitor. He was making a court approved, paid appearance from 10:30 pm to 12:30 pm at the event on Luckie Street when the chaos errupted. Steve Saddow, T.I.'s attorney could not provide any further details as to what exactly happened other than T.I. was not a part of the incident nor did he witness what took place.

It just kills me because Luckie Lounge is such a nice spot. It's a really grown-up atmosphere, but you know how clubs get? They get greedy and start letting any and everybody up in there just so they can make their money. And this is the end result of that type of mess. At least Tip has smart people around him (NOW) to keep him out of all that foolishness. Let's just hope it continues and it's not all just a show for the courts.

ANTM's Jaslene and Her Nonexistant Chest!

So now it's hot to expose your rib cage and completely irrelevant breast to the world? Oh really Jaslene? I understand that you love your slim look, but don't push that -ish on everybody else.
