Fantasia Back On The Scene

I'm glad to see my girl Fantasia back out and about after her dramatic split from rapper Young Dro. She hit up the Trevor Projects 11th Annual Cracked Christmas Benefit in LA this weekend and looks great. Looks like she's lost a few pounds too. Usually what happens after a bad break up... Been there... done that!

Recession Ain't No Joke!

have just found some more recession unfriendly news. Seems are fav American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino's North Carolina home has been foreclosed on and will be up for grabs tomorrow (Monday Dec 8) to the highest bidder. My goodness. What I don't understand is why do you need such a big house and it's just you and your child? I'm not saying that she doesn't have the right, or anyone for that matter, to purchase the home of their dreams, but lets be realistic folks. Get what you can afford, and think about the long run too! What if you can't sing or perform anymore, then what? I'm just saying! Of course this news sucks... and I pray that she is doing fine so don't go jumping down my throat folks!

Let The Rumors Fly...

It's a sad sad day in the neighborhood folks. Well, at least that's what it's "rumored" to be. In today's installment of "Let the rumors fly"... Fantasia and Young Dro are our latest victims. It's being reported from my girl NecoleBitchie that our favorite couple from the hood is no longer. Folks close to Ms. Bitchie say that 'Tasia was at Studio 72 (shout out to JD) partying it up and had the DJ make the annuoncement that she's single??? Why oh why 'Tasia? You guys were the black Ken and Barbie... oh wait... that's Beyonce and Jay-Z, well you guys were their side kicks, James and Tameka. Hopefully, this is just a rumor because you could tell that these two really loved each other whenever they were together. We'll see how it all comes to light. Stay tuned...

Fantasia Is Hard At Work

I had to give you guys the latest on my girl Fantasia. Why I love her so much is simply because she is Fantasia. She doesn't put on any aires about who she is or where she comes from. She can relate to most of us women who are going through it or have gone through it with her music.

Anyways, Gyant over at SOHH.com is reporting that he's gotten wind of Fanny being on her grind for her next album. The Grammy nominee is working with team over at Konvict Musik and the boys of Rock City to piece together this next project. They've already kicked out six songs for the untitled album and are hard at work on more. From what Gyant is saying about the songs that he's heard, Fantasia and her team are bringing us a new sound, but still the reminicsenct feel of the drama ladden life of most of her music that we all love. I can't wait!
