Maxwell Covers Billboard Mag

*EXHALE* Yes yes yes!!!! To Maxwell I say "YES"!!!! Maxwell, in all of his glorious glory, covers the June 27th edition of Billboard magazine as his long-awaited return BLACKsummers'night hits stores in a couple weeks. Between the action shot of Max channeling Smokey, Sam, Marvin and Teddy on stage to the tantalizing headline on the cover, there is so much win to be had here. The interview, conducted by Mariel Concepcion, promises to be a revealing look at the once-guarded soul singer.

Nas & Maxwell Are Buddies?

Well I'll be a monkey's auntie!!! What have we here? Apparently lots and lots of fun!!! I'm kinda jealous that I didn't get to partake! KINDA! As you can see from the pictures... Nas and Maxwell are having themselves a ball. The R&B hearthrob and hip hop (notice I didn't say rap... cuz Nasir Jones is not rap) icon are seen in these pictures partying it up with some.... shall I say "fan"/groupies down in Turks & Caicos. My question is, since when have these two been bosom buddies? What an unlikely friendship huh?

See how dudes do ladies? Nas and Kelis' divorce isn't even final and the baby hasn't been born, yet dude is out livin it up! As for Maxwell... well, all I know is that his girl should be really pissy right about now. Let's not act like ain't nothin happen after these photos!!! *side-eye*

Maxwell Announces First Tour In Six Years

Maxwell is finally giving us what we've all been waiting for; Another round of his magnificent voice. After teasing us at this years BET Awards with his rendention of Al Greens "Simply Beautiful", the 35-year-old neo-soul singer, whose smooth voice and good looks have melted fans since the '90s, announced his first tour in six years.

The U.S. tour starts out in Boston, MA on October 8, and goes on to cities such as New York City, and Los Angeles a Thursday press release. The live dates will be a "pre-party tour celebration" for the singer's upcoming trilogy album "Black Summers' Night," according to the release.

Maxwell's last album, 2001's seductively funky "Now," followed on the heels of 1998's "Embrya." It has been 12 years since his 1996 hit debut "Urban Hang Suite" cemented his status as an R&B sex symbol.

As you all know, Maxwell cut off his wild and out of control mane, and I miss it because it was so sexy on him, but I love the new look!
