Ne Ne Leakes Gives Her Opinion On Deshawn Snow Being Booted From ATL Housewives!

Days after Deshawn Snow revealed to Essence magazine that she had been dropped from the upcoming season of her former reality show "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", her cohort and mouth of the south Ne Ne Leakes gives her two cents as to why she thinks Deshawn was booted.

“She wanted to be a part of the show,” NeNe Leakes told MomLogic.com. “Production decided they weren’t going to option her for the second season. I think the reason… is that she wasn’t as outgoing or talkative as we were. We’re drama queens and to roll with us, you’ve got to be a drama queen.”

Well no -ish Sherlock!!!! Like we didn't know that already!

“I didn’t see it coming,” DeShawn told Essence on Wednesday. “I was shocked because I just talked to them in December about the new season.” She admitted she wasn’t the most dramatic member of the cast’s quintet. “I’m not the type to go ‘television’ and start acting crazy because somebody’s talking about me,” she said. “I suppose the show took a different direction and they no longer see me as the right fit.”

One woman who’s been rumored to replace her is Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster, but the R&B star’s spouse told the New York Daily News she wouldn’t be on the show.

“Although [Bravo] approached me, and I was flattered by the offer, I will not be joining the ‘Real Housewives’ cast,” she told the paper. Damn!!! Even though I don't care for this chick, she would have made the show even more dramatic... ya'll know that!

Bravo is indeed looking for new housewives in Atlanta for the show, a rep for the network told Access Hollywood, but would not confirm any casting rumors. As for NeNe – she’s keeping the drama going, even if it’s just over her hairstyle.

“On the show I did have long hair and I did have extensions and people would say, ‘She’s got a weave,’” she told MomLogic. “Well, honey, I’m not denying it. I love weaves. I’m not denying it. I never once said ‘I’m not wearing extensions.’ Fellow ‘Housewife’ Kim Zolciak was trying to make an excuse for wearing a wig.”... Damn that Ne Ne ain't right!

Ne Ne Goes Solo!

Of course we all know that the ladies of the ATL housewives show will be back for a second season... and I can't wait to see how they're going to spin all of this mess that we've been hearing in the news about all of them... well, except for DeShawn; can't find anything on her! So anyways, I'm hearing that our fav chick on the show Ne Ne has been signed to do a solo bid for BRAVO in 2010! Wow... this ought to be quite interesting. But what is it going to center around? Is she going to go around claiming how fab she is to any and everyone who will listen? I pray not! Time will tell.

Ne Ne Leakes Put On Blast By News Team

I was just telling my best friend about this because she's in Cali so she wasn't able to see it. The I-Team over at My Fox Atlanta did a special segment last night on guess who...? Yep... ya girl NeNe Leakes and her "husband" Greg.

Ya'll remember last week when I did the post on NeNe and Greg getting evicted from their Sugarloaf home? Well immediately after that, her people put out a statement saying that those rumors were false and completely untrue. I thought... well maybe their right... maybe she wasn't. Yeah RIGHT! Well, Fox put them on blast showing the actual eviction documents. The eviction was retracted after an “agreement” was reached, but they still left the home because they couldn’t afford it. Check out the I-Team’s whole investigation here that aired tonight.

And get this, the I-Team also found out that Greg is a rental manager and has been doing a whole lot of folks dirty when it comes to his job. He owes over 100k in back taxes, and his clients haven’t seen hide nor hair of him. They had to hire a P.I. He even moved his friends (a pastor and his wife) into one client’s rental property, but the couple couldn’t afford the $2300 rent and left the home in disgusting disarray. Now NeNe’s saying she never said they were rich–just comfortable. Um, isn’t the premise of this show about being rich? And who is comfortable getting evicted? Just saying…

You know... I hate that they even put these ladies on the show. Out of all of the wealthy black women in the city of Atlanta, they try to find the ones with the most drama but who are broke???? Ya'll could have done that by casting Monica, Tiny, Lyfe Jennings fiance' and several other chicks and that mess would have been straight up real all the way through! I'm just sayin!

Say It Ain't So Ne-Ne!!!!!!!!

Well I'll be D.A.M.N!!! More interesting tidbits are falling from the skies from our Brokedown Housewives of ATL. Seems our favorite of all the brokies, NeNe Leaks, has been evicted from her beautifully "lavish" home in the North Atlanta area of Sugerloaf.

Get this... the house that Ne Ne and hubby Greg and the boys lived in was actually just a rental. A rental specifically lived in for the show. Not on Bravo's commands but for the "appearance" for Ne Ne herself. The couple is said to owe over $6,400 in back rent. I'm sure there is no surprise for those of us that live here in Atlanta when we hear the real stories about these ladies. From using their friends to be their "assistants", down to not really having record deals, and filing for bankruptcy... these ladies sure knew what to do to keep the audience glued!

The Atlanta Journal Constitution has Ne Ne's response when she was asked where she's been living since she was evicted in September:

NeNe Leakes, in a series of e-mails Tuesday, would not say where she is living now. “It’s none of your business,” she wrote. But she noted that they “are financial able [sic] and stable to live where ever we feel fits.”

"FITS"??? *blank stare*... anyways, NeNe also said that no one really knows the real deal about her relationship with Greg! Sooooooo, does that mean he's her sugar daddy or something and not really her husband? WOW dude!!! There is so much frontin going on on this show that it... wait... it really doesn't surprise me. Er'body in Atlanta is frontin damn nears... NEXT!

Anderson Cooper Has A Thing For Real Housewife Ne Ne?

For all of you Real Housewives of Atlanta fans, this news shouldn't surprise you one bit. Seems our favorite housewife Ne-Ne Leakes has her sights set on CNN's top anchor Anderson Cooper. Maybe this is why we don't see him with any women... could it be he's holding out for some brown suga?

Anderson Cooper told Ellen DeGeneres on her show yesterday that he's actually a fan of Bravo's latest installment of its Housewives franchise. "I like to keep abreast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta," Cooper said. When DeGeneres admitted she hadn't gotten into the show, Cooper jokingly scolded her. "Honey," the CNN newsman said, "I don't even know where to begin with NeNe."... HONEY??? Anderson... buddy... that language is adding fuel to those rumors you've been staving off!

Alluding to Leakes' ample top half, Cooper held his hands out from his chest and said, "You have to sort of watch to enjoy the fullness of NeNe." In an exclusive interview earlier today, Leakes told me her phone didn't stop ringing and the text messages didn't stop coming from friends and family who were watching Ellen at the time. "I told my husband, 'You know Anderson Cooper? He spoke about me,' " Leakes said. "And he said, 'Anderson Cooper? The guy with the white hair? No, he didn't!' We think it's great. We love it."

So what does she have to say to Ms. DeGeneres for not being a viewer? "I need to update Ellen," Leakes said. "The girl is lost, and she needs to call me so I can let her know what Real Housewives of Atlanta is all about." Leakes quickly forgave Cooper for mispronouncing her name (it's NeeNee, not NayNay), and now can't help imagine the fun times she thinks she could have with the silver fox. "I would just talk to him and keep it real," she said, adding, "Let's just get down and dirty and talk about whatever." Then she laughed, "I'd wear a nice little top, since he's talking about my chest. I don't know if he's had any brown sugar."

Ne Ne might be a little too much for Anderson... he'll bite off waaaaay more than he can chew in one sitting!

Real Housewives Star Ne Ne Wants Her Name In Lights

Watch out, Hollywood: NeNe Leakes is coming your way! Leakes, one of the five women featured on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", says that she wants to be in the entertainment business now.

"I would love to just act. I would love to have my own show," she says. "Yes, honey, The NeNe Show. I want to be like a black Lucille Ball." Hold 'em up now Ne Ne... slow your roll. First you need to get some etiquette lessons, then acting school, then a whole attitude adjustment!

I guess she's pretty serious about this whole idea. She's even currently looking for an agent. "Honey, I'm coming out for pilot season," she says. "They're not going to hold me back. I'm not waiting a minute!"

For now, Leakes is staying put in Atlanta with her businessman husband, Gregg, and their two sons. Ms. Mouth says Gregg has had no problems with cameras following her and her friends 24/7. "My husband is my cheerleader," she says. "He really is. I'm his trophy wife, honey. He lets me do whatever I want to do." *Serious Side Eye On This -ish*

It's that sassy self-assurance that fueled one of the shows first dramaramas when Leakes' name wasn't on the list for fellow Housewife Sheree Whitfield's birthday party. Leakes stormed off after security wouldn't let her in. I won't tell you what happens, but Leakes now hisses, "I just know that she better not ever leave my damn name off of her list again. She better make sure no matter what party she has, that my name needs to be at the top of the list, because I will cause some drama at yo party."

And there's more brewing for Leakes. Bravo is promoting the heck out of a letter she received from a family member questioning if her father really is her father. "You have to tune in to see what happens," Leakes says with a laugh. "But it really could help somebody. I'm sure there are lots of women and men in the world that are in my situation."
