Real Housewives of Atlanta Are Back and In Full Effect!!!!

Theeeeeeeeeey're baaaaaaaaaaaaack!!! Yes yes yes!!! The show that we have all been waiting months for has returned. The ladies of Bravo TV's Real Housewives of Atlanta will premiere the new season on July 30th... and with a new member- Kandi... you know... from the 90's R & B girl group Xscape. Even though Kandi has never been married, she is engaged to A.J. Jewell and they are currently living together.

Real Housewives Kim Zolciak Not Happy With Publicist

Kim Zolciak is having an image crisis—with the guy who used to be responsible for her image. The Real Housewives of Atlanta hausfrau has been sued for breach-of-contract by her publicist, whom she is simultaneously trying to restrain via a court order.

Per TMZ.com, Zolciak has filed a request for a protective order against her former rep, Jonathan Jaxson, in which she accuses him of using the website KimZolciakOnline.com to sabotage her. The brash blonde claims Jaxson changed the password and security settings so she couldn't access the site and then posted a littany of lies about her.

But according to Jaxson's camp, it's Zolciak who needs a lesson on how to play nice with others. "Jaxson is in fear for his safety and has filed a police report with the Atlanta Police Department after threats were made concerning his well-being by Ms. Zolciak," a rep for Jaxson tells E! News.

Jaxson filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit against the aspiring country songstress Feb. 23 for $15,000 in back fees, claiming she had stopped paying his monthly retainer fee, thereby immediately voiding their contract. And furthermore, Jaxson's rep says, he owns the website Zolciak has accused him of hijacking.

Lisa Wu Hartwell Wants Her Chil'rens Back!

Hmmm... now who didn't see this coming? I did!!! There is more drama with another star of the Bravo hit Real Housewives of Atlanta”. This time, co-star Lisa Wu Hartwell filed for primary custody of her two sons that she has with her ex-husband, singer Keith Sweat.

Last Thursday (Feb 19) she petitioned the court to get full custody of her sons. According to the court papers:

“The best interest of the minor children will be served by modifying the current custody and visitation provisions to make Mother the primary physical condition of the minor children. Since the time of the Divorce Decree, Mother has remarried, owns a successful business and will provide a stable, loving, and nurturing environment in which she can raise the minor children. Wu is seeking primary physical custody and joint legal custody with final decision-making on all issues regarding the minor children. She will reasonably engage Keith in good faith discussions before any final decisions are made concerning the children’s welfare.”

Ok... so let me get this straight... Keith was granted FULL CUSTODY before, and now, since Lisa is remarried, and is on t.v. (cuz we all know thats what this is about), she wants full custody? I pray that the judge sees right through this crap! I'm not saying that she doesn't want to have her children back full time, but c'mon. Did you petition the court for full custody before it was puclic knowledge that you didn't have them in your care primarily?

The reason that is being stated for Keith being granted the initial full custody is because the judge presiding over the case stated, the children lacked structure in their lives, due in substantial part to Mother’s numerous business ventures and frequent trips out of town. The judge stated Lisa has a history of spending money on herself excessively rather than providing for the children. There was also evidence of violence against Lisa by Keith though.

Her two sons–Jordan Sweat, age 14, and Justin Sweat, age 11–were given to Keith Sweat in a full custody battle 6 years ago. Lisa says she wants them back, but even though she has a successful business and has remarried, she still wants child support as well. Geeeeet the hell outta here Lisa!!!

ATL Housewives Replaces A Wife!

Out of all these... chicks... DeShawn was the only one with some dag on sense. In what has proven to be the most dramatic Bravo series, the people in charge have decided that DeShawn will be out for next seasons shows. If you watched the show, then you would know why she's out. She's not outrageous and all over the damn place like these other women are. She has a stable marriage, and has virtually no drama going on. So... to BRAVO execs... she's boring! They want more drama and bigger ratings, so guess who they'll be replacing her with???? *SIGH*....

The chicks that are in the running to be DeShawn's replacement... ugh!!! i hate to even say this first name, but Tameka Foster... yes, Ursh's wife, Radio personality and DJ Frank Ski's wife Tanya, and Dr. Jay's arm piece/girlfriend Dorys. Can you imagine the types of foolishness that will go down if Tameka is on this show? I might have to sit this one out!

Ne Ne Goes Solo!

Of course we all know that the ladies of the ATL housewives show will be back for a second season... and I can't wait to see how they're going to spin all of this mess that we've been hearing in the news about all of them... well, except for DeShawn; can't find anything on her! So anyways, I'm hearing that our fav chick on the show Ne Ne has been signed to do a solo bid for BRAVO in 2010! Wow... this ought to be quite interesting. But what is it going to center around? Is she going to go around claiming how fab she is to any and everyone who will listen? I pray not! Time will tell.

Real Housewives Atlanta A Go For Second Season

I'm sure that no one is surprised to hear this news but the folks over at the Bravo Network have decided to give it a go for a second season of their hit "The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

The show was basically much more popular than anticipated, building from 650,000 viewers the first episode to 2.8 million viewers by the time the reunion came along two months later. It has also generated incredible response here on this blog. People may dislike these ladies, but truth be told... we can't get enough of them!

Or we can take the press release quote from the Bravo exec, in less-than-colorful business-speak:

“The level of engagement on Atlanta far surpasses a typical series on cable or broadcast, with our viewers deepening their connection to the show through live wireless chats, daily blogs and additional footage online,” said Frances Berwick, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Bravo. “This, along with the "colorful" (GHETTO & TACKY) personalities of our housewives, helped drive the series to a watercooler sensation.”

I'm reaaaaaaally hoping that they've been shooting for a while now, and that they have all of this drama with NeNe and her house on their! Ohhhhhhh, wouldn't that be juicy? I anticipate all five housewives will be back. I’m not sure if they are contractually required to be around for a second season but my guess is yes. I highly doubt that the forever scheming wanna-be fashion queen Sheree Whitfield would pass up another opportunity to get her name out there some more for her "fashion show" with no fashion... as my boy Dwight put it!

There hasn't been a premiere date for season two, but I'm guessing sometime this spring or early summer we can expect to see our brokedown housewives back in action. I'm also hoping that Kim gets a new wig, or that Dwight keeps his word and brings her into the 21st century! Either will do!
