Real Chance of Love 2: Back In The Saddle

I was soooo not anticipating this day, but it's finally here. VH1 has brought back the Stallionaire brothers Real and Chance for part 2 of Real Chance of Love 2: Back In The Saddle.

Last season we saw Real choose "Corn Fed", a shy little white girl from Fargo North Dakota who had never dated a black guy ever in her life. Chance, on the other hand, chose no one (surprise surprise). This season, the guys will have another 20 ladies to choose from. I don't care too much about these two dudes, but I must admit that the last season was very entertaining to say the least. I can't wait to see what foolishness will occur this go around.

Below I've posted pics of all the contestants along with their ridiculous ass nicknames on the show. Real Chance of Love 2 premieres Monday, August 3 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.

Three Six Mafia Make Cookin Easy... Sort Of!

The remaining two members of Three 6 Mafia are continuing to capitalize on their crossover success with yet another unexpected new venture.

DJ Paul and Juicy J have developed a new television project which will introduce the world to their love of cooking. Cookin’ Ain’t Easy will find the two longtime friends and collaborators hosting a weekly dinner party for friends, fans and celebrity guests. Prior to the arrival of the guests and the start of the meal, the show will also follow them as they prepare the meal to be served, giving viewers the opportunity to actually learn the week’s recipes.

“It is a completely fresh approach to a cooking show,” said veteran reality tv producer Adam Briles, who will executive produce the show. “You get much of the same take-away information that viewers expect from the genre, but it is served up in such a unique, relatable and funny way that it is just flat out entertaining.”

While DJ Paul and Juicy J’s antics are sure to keep fans attention, as they did with their 2007 MTV show Adventures in Hollyhood, the new show will also showcase Three 6 Mafia’s versatility in the kitchen.

“We’re not just cooking soul food like people might expect,” explained Juicy J. “We’re cooking Indian food, Italian, Asian, Middle Eastern food – all different inds of foods that people wouldn’t think we could cook. It’s a comedy, it’s funny and we love bringing people together for it.”

A launch date for Cookin’ Ain’t Easy has yet to be determined, as Mise En Scene Entertainment and the William Morris Endeavor Agency are shopping it to major cable networks now.

Jackson Family Reality Show Will Air On A&E

A&E is working on a reality project with the Jackson family which I'm most definitely sure that with the death of Michael Jackson, will draw the show some big big ratings.

The network commissioned a one-hour special following Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy that was originally intended to serve as a "backdoor pilot" for a potential series. The project was commissioned months ago and producers have finished shooting footage that followed Jackson family members as they readied a new album and reunion tour.

A&E planned to air the result as a special, tentatively titled "The Jackson Family," next year, taking a "wait and see" approach and gauging viewer reaction before deciding whether to order the project as a series. After Michael's unexpected death last month and subsequent intensive media coverage, the question for A&E becomes: What now?

Producers have not shot any additional footage with the family since Jackson's death, leaving the network with a project that's still attractive -- one that uses footage and interviews capturing the current incarnation of the Jackson 5 as entertainers, entrepreneurs and family members -- yet also has a glaring narrative omission hanging over its current form.

A&E's special will almost certainly have to change to reflect recent events. But the network has not yet decided the best course of action.

Maino Reality Show In The Works

I'm telling ya'll... I need to get to work on my own reality show. Angela Yee and Leah Rose of Shade 45's 'Lip Service' broke news of a Maino reality TV series this week, when they had the Maino himself on their radio show on Monday.

Though Maino was initially hesitant to discuss the details of the show, or even admit its existence, he eventually broke down and gave them the story, saying

"It's 90% solidified, this is why I haven't really spoke on it...There's something reality based...MTV-ish...It's about a white dude that doesn't come from our culture, who doesn't understand the rap game...he lives with me and tries to understand what goes on in our world."

Maino refused to confirm or deny the rumor that he smacked his house-guest during the filming the show, saying "Nothin I do is scripted...so if you see me smack somebody, then maybe it's really going down." But that's Maino -- smacking his roommate one day, giving away a million bucks the next. While the show has yet to find a home, it sounds entertaining at the least.

Check the link for audio of the interview, and pick up Maino's debut 'If Tomorrow Comes ...' in stores now.

So Hood Calls VH1 Racists

I can't stand this girl! "So Hood" from VH1's "Real Chance of Love" calls VH1 and Ricki Lake racists for not giving her her own show. No dear... it's because you're ghetto as hell and you don't deserve it! You're attitude sucks and you're unappreciative! Thats why! You're on here talking about you want to fight? Don't you have kids? Girl stop!

Scott Storch Next On Reality TV

I see that super producer Scott Storch has found a way to recoup all that money that he blew and no longer has. Reports are now surfacing that the hit-producer has signed a deal to star in an upcoming reality show that will give viewers an inside look into his personal life and the music industry.

Documenting Storch as he makes hit records for the hottest artists in the business, the new show will also feature the hot and trendy Miami music scene.“This is a monumental moment to see a producer of his caliber let the cameras into his world and see how hit records are made,” executive producer David Weintraub explained. “A lot of people have tried to get Scott to open up the curtain to this process but have never been successful.”

Octomom Coming To A Television Near You!

Do we really need our televisions filled with more reality fucktackery? I think not! Regardless of what you folks feel, get ready, because it's coming!

I'm sure that most have forgotten about Nadya Suleman and her love for the kids, especially with all of the Jon & Kate hoopla as of late! Never fear my friends, Nadya and the fab 14 are on the way!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Ms. Suleman is getting her long awaited wish of becoming the star of her own show. She has at long last secured a deal to star, with all 14 of her children, in a reality show from 3Ball Productions.

Unlike Jon & Kate and the infamous Duggers and their brood of 18 kids, Nadya's show will be a more long-term, less intrusive project, more in line with a documentary that will chronicle her children's lives only through certain milestones, like birthdays and other special events.

It has not yet been sold to a network.

La La Promo Pics For Charm School

Former MTV veejay La La Vasquez is next up to appear in another crappy ass VH1 reality show. This time, she'll be the dean at it's infamous Charm School, along with Ricki Lake and radio Loveline host Stryker. This third season of Charm School will feature the girls from Real Chance of Love and the Rock of Love Bus. The panel will be showing the girls how to be ladies and philanthropist in their own right. When asked about the show, this is what La La had to say:

“Before I began this journey with the girls I was a little skeptic on how much they really wanted to make a change but after spending time with all these young ladies and getting to know each and every one of them, I really believe that this show has helped them all.”

I'm sure there are a few of you that actually follow these shows, and if you do, you'll remember that La La is the one that has done the reunion shows for Flavor of Love, I Love New York, For The Love of Money, and Real Chance of Love. The new season of Charm School will air sometime in the Summer of 09.

Ne Ne Leakes Gives Her Opinion On Deshawn Snow Being Booted From ATL Housewives!

Days after Deshawn Snow revealed to Essence magazine that she had been dropped from the upcoming season of her former reality show "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", her cohort and mouth of the south Ne Ne Leakes gives her two cents as to why she thinks Deshawn was booted.

“She wanted to be a part of the show,” NeNe Leakes told MomLogic.com. “Production decided they weren’t going to option her for the second season. I think the reason… is that she wasn’t as outgoing or talkative as we were. We’re drama queens and to roll with us, you’ve got to be a drama queen.”

Well no -ish Sherlock!!!! Like we didn't know that already!

“I didn’t see it coming,” DeShawn told Essence on Wednesday. “I was shocked because I just talked to them in December about the new season.” She admitted she wasn’t the most dramatic member of the cast’s quintet. “I’m not the type to go ‘television’ and start acting crazy because somebody’s talking about me,” she said. “I suppose the show took a different direction and they no longer see me as the right fit.”

One woman who’s been rumored to replace her is Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster, but the R&B star’s spouse told the New York Daily News she wouldn’t be on the show.

“Although [Bravo] approached me, and I was flattered by the offer, I will not be joining the ‘Real Housewives’ cast,” she told the paper. Damn!!! Even though I don't care for this chick, she would have made the show even more dramatic... ya'll know that!

Bravo is indeed looking for new housewives in Atlanta for the show, a rep for the network told Access Hollywood, but would not confirm any casting rumors. As for NeNe – she’s keeping the drama going, even if it’s just over her hairstyle.

“On the show I did have long hair and I did have extensions and people would say, ‘She’s got a weave,’” she told MomLogic. “Well, honey, I’m not denying it. I love weaves. I’m not denying it. I never once said ‘I’m not wearing extensions.’ Fellow ‘Housewife’ Kim Zolciak was trying to make an excuse for wearing a wig.”... Damn that Ne Ne ain't right!

Taj George On Survivor Series

I think I might actually be watching this new season of CBS' 18th season of their hit show "Survivor". Only because my favorite SWV member is going to be on there. Thats right folks... Mrs. Taj George will be on Survivor showing us her physical agility skills. I'm sure she has some, especially being married to such an outstanding former NFL star such as Eddie George. But it makes me wonder... why is she resorting to reality shows other than the one she and her husband had on TVOne titled "I Married A Baller". Do they need the money or is she trying to make herself relevant again? Either way, it's still good to see her. I love her personality. She seems so down to Earth.

ATL Housewives Replaces A Wife!

Out of all these... chicks... DeShawn was the only one with some dag on sense. In what has proven to be the most dramatic Bravo series, the people in charge have decided that DeShawn will be out for next seasons shows. If you watched the show, then you would know why she's out. She's not outrageous and all over the damn place like these other women are. She has a stable marriage, and has virtually no drama going on. So... to BRAVO execs... she's boring! They want more drama and bigger ratings, so guess who they'll be replacing her with???? *SIGH*....

The chicks that are in the running to be DeShawn's replacement... ugh!!! i hate to even say this first name, but Tameka Foster... yes, Ursh's wife, Radio personality and DJ Frank Ski's wife Tanya, and Dr. Jay's arm piece/girlfriend Dorys. Can you imagine the types of foolishness that will go down if Tameka is on this show? I might have to sit this one out!

I was reeeeeeally hoping that it was just a rumor, at the most that it got cancelled before it hit the air.

BET's New Knockoff Reality Show Harlem Heights

BET is soooooooo on MTV's jock! Ridin the hell outta of it too. Why every show on BET got to be a knock off of something on MTV? Can we get some originality please? This is one of the reasons why I don't watch BET. It's boring and totally redundant! Anyways, BET held a session at the Television Critics Association press tour Saturday to promote their upcoming inauguration coverage, introduce a new head of programming and unveil its promising new series following young urban professionals in New York.

“Harlem Heights,” is BET's newest upcoming reality show following a group of young college-educated professionals living and working in the New York neighborhood. In a departure from many reality shows, most of the "Harlem Heights" cast members either knew each other, or knew the show's creators and producers. Among the cast is Brooke Crittendon, a former assistant to MTV News chief David Sirulnick and ex-girlfriend of Kanye West.

During Saturday morning's Q&A session, Brooke tried to keep her famous ex-boyfriend a secret, apparently unaware that the room full of TV critics were all on laptop computers connected to wi-fi and a click away from Wikipedia. She explained that her reason for doing the show was to repair some of the tabloid damage she endured during her relationship with West.

"I was involved with a very famous rapper for a number of years," she said. "And I worked in the news and documentary department (at MTV). So a lot of our pop news involved myself. But because I sort of played the background to the person that I was dating, I had to go through people saying things about me or just sort of assuming who I was... I just was like, 'I just want to let people know what I really am and what I really do. I’m not just this person’s girlfriend.'”

When a reporter (likely without a laptop) asked Brooke to reveal the rapper's name, she replied:--- "Part of my personal journey beyond actually wrapping the show is to not mention that person, because if I’m trying to get from under the shadow of being that person’s girlfriend, I feel like to constantly drop their name and that association is sort of saying, 'Hey, I don’t want you to think I’m just that, but I did used to date this really cool person,' you know what I mean?"

The show was acquired before Obama became the nominee of the Democratic Party, but cameras were rolling on the night of Nov. 4 and captured several of the cast members' emotional reactions to Obama's victory. ---“None of us expected the election to be so meaningful to us and the people in Harlem,” said Loretha Jones, BET's new programming president. “We happened to be with these people on Election Night. And you saw their reaction to the election.”
