William Balfour Could Go Free Monday

The main and only suspect in the Hudson family murders, William Balfour could go free come Monday morning if police don't find more evidence to hold him.

The convicted felon suspected in the killings of the mother, brother and nephew of singer Jennifer Hudson has a parole hearing Monday and could be released if an administrative officer finds no reason to hold him.

No one has been charged in the shootings, but authorities have called 27-year-old William Balfour a “person of interest.” Balfour is in custody on a parole violation. He is the estranged husband of Julia Hudson, sister of the singer and actress.

The chairman of the Illinois Prisoner Review Board, Jorge Montes, says that if an administrative officer finds cause to continue holding Balfour, the case then would go to a review board for a hearing.

However, Montes says “conceivably” Balfour could be released. Police spokeswoman Monique Bond said the investigation of the killings is continuing and is independent of the prisoner review board’s decisions.

Katt Williams Arrested On Weapons Charges

Comedian Katt Williams was arrested on weapons charges in Manhattan on Thursday (November 6) after police noticed that his vehicle had no license plates.According to the New York Daily News, Williams' Mercedes bus and red Cadillac Escalade were parked on Broadway, and police noticed that the SUV was missing a license plate and that three guns were in plain sight inside the vehicles.

When the comedian exited a nearby building, he told the cops that the vehicles were his, and the officers arrested him on the spot.He was booked and spend most of Thursday behind bars, before posting $25,000 bond just in time for a scheduled performance at Carnegie Hall.He raced to the venue, and just made his show -- an hour late, though."Wearing baggy jeans and a satin shirt, [Williams] ... spritzed himself with cologne and jumped into a black limo," the paper reported. "Half an hour later, it screeched to a stop near the rear stage entrance on West 56th Street, and Williams, surrounded by bodyguards, jumped out and disappeared into the hall.

"Williams apologized to the crowd when he hit the stage, telling them, "I just got out of jail 35 minutes ago." He assured the audience that he raced to the show because of them, though, not for the payday. "I wasn't thinking about the money -- maybe because they paid me in advance."

More details have emerged out of the Lyfe Jennings fiasco that occured last week resulting in a police chase and car crash. The 911 tape of someone reporting Lyfe Jennings acting a dag on fool in front of his ex girlfriends house has been released. Check it out here. Lyfe was seen at his estranged girlfriend’s, who is also the mother of his three children, home trying to kick down the door and screaming “Where are my f’in kids!”. He also got a gun from his car and started shooting in front of the house. He was arrested after a police chase and car crash a little while later. A few months ago, it was reported that Lyfe was also a heartless son of a *itch when he had the utilities cut off at the house where his children lived. All because he was upset with their mother. I hope his butt go back to jail. I'm sorry if ya'll don't like that... but any man that's going to act a fool like this don't need to have no kids in his custody without supervison at that!

Don Cornelius Arrested For Domestic Dispute

Legendary urban music icon, Don Cornelius, former long-time host of Soul Train, was arrested late Friday (October 17) night on suspicion of domestic violence. According to reports, the LAPD were called to Cornelius’ Hollywood Hills home after calls came in regarding a loud dispute at the home. The 72-year-old executive producer was taken into custody and subsequently booked for felony domestic violence.

After posting $50,000 bail, a judge ordered Cornelius to appear in court next month. At press time, authorities would not confirm who Cornelius is accused of assaulting.

Okay James Brown duece... why is it that these old ass men don't start beatin on women until they get up in age? Webbie Arrested For Evading The Police

Louisiana rapper Webbie was arrested in Mississippi on Sunday (September 14) following a high speed chase that took police from the interstate to surface streets.

According to local news station WAFB, the 23-year-old rapper whose real name is Webster Gradney, ignored police sirens when they attempted to pull over his 2009 Dodge Challenger for a traffic violation on I-59 at around 3:30 p.m., continuing to drive recklessly until exiting the interstate.

During the chase, Webbie collided with another vehicle, but kept going. Police stopped to attend to the victims of the other car and lost sight of Webbie's car. Witnesses said they saw the rapper exit the Challenger and get into another vehicle, which was a 1993 Ford Crown Victoria. Police later found the car with Webbie and two other men inside.

Webbie was arrested and charged with one count of felony eluding, one count of driving under the influence, and one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana. He was booked and jailed into the Forrest County Regional Jail. Police later said that the small amount of marijuana was found in the abandoned Challenger. They also added that Webbie has one pending felony charge of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle because of the car crash. The other two men were questioned and later released without charge.

At press time, it was unclear if the rapper is still being held.

Kanye West was released a little before 1 p.m., about four hours after his candid-camera airport bust, the hip-hop star was released from police custody on $20,000 bail and immediately headed for parts unknown.

Shielded by umbrellas, the 31-year-old Grammy winner and his road manager, Don Crowley, were ushered into a back Chevy Suburban (with the license plate "DIVA") and spirited away to Van Nuys Airport. The SUV drove onto the runway and into a hangar to avoid being followed by the press. No word on the duo's final destination, but they had been due to board an American Airlines flight from Los Angeles International Airport to Honolulu when the camera-smashing incident went down.

Kanye West Arrested At LAX

Yeezy oh Yeezy... what art thou doin? LAX police have confirmed to Access Hollywood, that Kanye West was arrested at LAX earlier today.

West was arrested at 7:51 AM this morning in Terminal Four on charges of battery and vandalism and is still in the custody of the airport police.

Airport police can’t confirm yet, but they speculate it was due to a situation with the paparazzi. According to the gossip Web site TMZ.com, a photographer was attempting to photograph the rap star at the American Airlines terminal, when West allegedly confronted the photographer, grabbing his camera smashing it to the ground.

A TMZ photographer who was also present then attempted to videotape West, when Kanye’s assistant allegedly grabbed the video camera. A struggle reportedly ensued between the assistant and the TMZ photographer, which caused the second camera to crash to the ground. West reportedly approached the TMZ photographer demanding the tape, yelling, “Gimme that f****** tape!”

Kanye and his assistant could be charged with felony vandalism.

Suge Knight Arrested

Dude... if you don't sit yo old wanna be a "G" ass down somewhere... DAMN!!! Police say rap music mogul Marion “Suge” Knight is in a Las Vegas jail on drug and assault charges after he was accused of beating his girlfriend while brandishing a knife.

The 43-year-old Knight was arrested about 6:40 a.m. Wednesday on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription and battery domestic violence.

Police responding to a report of a car hitting a curb near the Las Vegas Strip say they found Knight standing over his longtime girlfriend with a knife in his hand. Police say the woman tried to run from the car, but Knight grabbed her.

He’s accused of having the drugs Ecstasy and hydrocodone when he was arrested. Knight’s lawyers, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, declined immediate comment.

Actress "Snoop" From The Wire Arrested

The only chick I've seen that has repped harder than Cleo from Set It Off, Snoop, from HBO's hit tv show The Wire, has been arrested . Police arrested popular actress Felicia "Snoop" Pearson on minor drug charges on yesterday (August 20), after she was detained for refusing to cooperate as a witness in a murder trial.

The Baltimore Homicide division unit came to Snoops home in the Northeast section of BMore, bringing with them a "body attachment" warrant which meant that it allowed them to arrest and detain Snoop. The officers found two rolled up cigars filled with marijuana and also residue. Snoop can be held until September 16, which is when the murder trial of her friend Steven Lashley will start. Said friend is accused of stabbing three men outside a Baltimore eatery in defense of Snoop who had gotten into an arguement with one of the men inside the place. Apparently, dude tried to come on to Snoop, who is widely known for being a lesbian, but when Snoop refused and offended the guy, he began to verbally assault Snoop and that's when the maylay happened and Police had to come in to break it up.

Once the altercation inside was over, everyone went outside to get in their vehicles, but it wasn't over. The incident flared up again outside because of the proximity of their vehicles, which were all parked near Water and Commerce streets, police said. Lashley eventually pulled out a knife and stabbed the three men, fatally wounding one of the three. Snoop had informed the police that she was not involved in the stabbing. “He ain’t try to flirt with me or no -ish like that,” Pearson told investigators. “It was so tight in there...I’m like what -ish man get out of my face.”

According to The Baltimore Sun, a warrant was issued for Snoop on July 1, after she missed an April 21 trial date. She also recently avoided prosecutors' phone calls in regards to the trial. Snoop was sentenced to eight years in prison in 1996 at the age of 14, for shooting and killing Okia "Kia" Toomer during a dispute between the two females. Her life is chronicled in her recently released memoirs, titled Grace After Midnight.

DMX Busted Once A-Damn-Gain!

I know, I know... as much as ya'll are tired of hearing about DMX, I'm tired of telling you about him. I think dude is tryin to compete with the Olympics for breaking some sort of record or something, because he's going strong with these damn arrests.

DMX busted again Thursday, this time in Miami on an outstanding warrant for skipping another court date in Arizona related to his pending animal-cruelty and drug-possession case.

Pictures taken by TMZ show that police nabbed him outside a Wal-Mart this afternoon. Although DMX's attorney did appear on his client's behalf Tuesday afternoon to provide documentation that his client couldn't make it because he was hospitalized in Miami (he wouldn't say why, though), the judge opted to issue a bench warrant anyway and raised his bond to $25,000.

This dude is so out of control with these damn arrests that I can't even keep count anymore. I know he's gotta be ahead of the US swimmer Micheal Phelps who has 11 golds... he's gotta be.

Sean Paul Arrested In Sweden For On Possession Charges

Sean Paul was arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession Friday after getting swept up in a police raid at the annual Swedish music fest, which takes place in the town of Uppsala, about 110 miles north of Stockholm.

According to TMZ, the Jamaican artist was one of 200 to 300 people—including 10 performers—who were hauled off to a local police station for questioning. Police said that they collected evidence at the scene and an investigation into the allegedly smoky shenanigans is currently underway.

Yung Berg Arrested

I know no one has love for dude anymore, but I still gotta keep you informed. Yung Berg aka Dark Butt hater, was arrested early yesterday morning in New York City after police investigated a complaint by a limo driver. Apparently, Berg and his entourage were cuttin up and the limo driver just couldn't stand it anymore. Sources say a limo driver reported a dispute with five passengers, and when police investigated the complaint, they busted Berg and his buddies on a pile of charges. Cops say Berg, real name Christian Ward, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana and menacing.

Dude has really got to be feelin like -ish right now. No one comes to your shows, you've lost what little fans you had, and now you get arrested? Dude, just go slit your wrists and get it over with!

Da Brat May Have To Do Jail Time For Assault

The streets are talking and so are the airwaves. Sources are sayin thatDa Brat has struck a plea deal with prosecutors for her role in a club brawl last Halloween. For those of y'all who don't remember Shawntae got buck wild at Jeramine Dupri's costume party where Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey were in attendance which resulted in a cocktail waitress's face getting smashed in by a full bottle of alcohol. She was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and has been out on bail since then. It's being said that Da Brat is scheduled to turn herself in later on this week.

I bet the broads in the cell block are already fighting for the opportunity to be her "bitch"!

Gucci Mane Arrested

Boy I tell ya.. these rappers just can't get enough of seeing the inside of a jail cell can they? Earlier this week, it was Lil Scrappy, and now another Atl rapper is behind bars. This time it's Gucci Mane. Although he wasn't harmed like Scrappy, but he was still caught up by Henry County police during a routine traffic stop, but was arrested and charged for DUI, firearm and drug. The details of everything are still coming out, but the most serious offense of these is the possession of a firearm. Gucci is a convicted felon, and as we all know, they aren't allowed to have firearms.

Lil Scrappy Free On Bond

Lil Scrappy was freed on a $1500 bond yesterday (July 20) from the DeKalb County Jail after he was stabbed, then arrested for an apparent domestic dispute that took place between himself and his sisters boyfriend.

Scrappy was coming to the aide of his sister at her apartment in Decatur off of N. Hairston Rd, when he and the sisters boyfriend got into an altercation, which resulted in Scrappy being injured. But despite his injuries, he was still taken into custody by DeKalb County Police after a search of his vehicle ensued. He was charged with felony use of a weapon in the commission of a crime and felony marijuana possession.

Scrappy must also contend with one count of police battery and misdemeanor obstruction of police officers. But believe it or not, through all of this, the boyfriend wasn't even charged for stabbing Scrappy. Was he white? I'm just playing. These just jokes ya'll... Just jokes!

DMX Arrested AGAIN!!! Deeeeeeeezam!

I don't know if you guys have heard, probably not because I'm sure the reporters are just as sick of this -ish as us bloggers are, but rapper DMX has been again, this makes six times in three damn months. Somebody has got to come to the rescue of this guy. He's sounding like he's going back to his crackhead days. DMX has been arrested and slapped with a felony charge of taking the identity of another at a Phoenix mall. The rapper was arrested (July 19) in a Phoenix mall, due to an alleged incident at the Scottsdale Mayo clinic in April where the rapper was being treated for an illness. While there, he allegedly used an alias, “Troy Jones,” and defaulted on a $7,500 bill. DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was booked and detained in the Maricopa County jail.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio (same dude that took Shaq's honorary cop badge for dissing Kobe) feels that the rapper, real name Earl Simmons, has had more than enough opportunities to reform and deserves stiffer punishment.“He’s back in jail again,” Arpaio told the Associated Press. “I don’t know why judges keep letting this guy out. Every time he goes in there, he gets out on bond. I’m hoping this is the one time he’s going to pay the penalty for his offense.”

Arpaio says that X will be placed in protective custody because of his celebrity status stating, “They [inmates] may not like his music. WHATEVER! He wants to act like everybody else, then treat him like everybody else.

Khloe Kardashian Set To Do Time Behind Bars!

Big sister Kim Kardashian wrote on her blog : "I urge people to learn from the mistakes of others. Please drink responsibly, and it's never acceptable to drink and drive!"

What is she talking about? She's talking about her baby sister Khloe doing time for a 2007 DUI arrest where Khloe violated her probation by being charged with the offense. It is unclear how long she will be behind bars (she could stay up to 30 days). Kim, 27, says "no matter how long and where," Khloe, 23, "just wants to "have this resolved."

Khloe (who has until Friday to begin serving her sentence) will also have to enroll in an alcohol treatment program — one of the terms of probation she failed to complete — within three weeks of her release. She will remain on probation.

I'm wondering if this will end up in a 23-hour stay like Paris Hilton's visit to the county? Just a thought.

DMX Arrested For The Third Time... Does It Get Any Worse?

How many times can one person be arrested in one week? Give up? Well ask DMX's punk ass. This dude has been arrested for a third time in just 10 damn days? Are you freakin kiddin me dude? Damn, when will this guy learn his damn lesson. *SIGH* anyways, according to TMZ,

DMX was arrested in Arizona this morning, as he exited a flight from Fort Lauderdale. The rapper currently has two outstanding warrants in Phoenix. Sheriff Joe Arpaio — aka America’s Toughest Sheriff — tells TMZ that DMX “never learns his lesson” and hopes to get the rapper into a pair of pink underwear in his Tent City jail. X was busted June 27 after he allegedly tried to buy drugs from an undercover officer. He was also busted on June 23, May 9 and May 7.</p>

I am at a loss for words on dude! It's definitely showing by the looks of this picture, he's thinking the same damn thing.

Gym Class Heroes Lead Dude Arrested!

Gym Class Heroes lead singer Travis McCoy was arrested last night in St. Louis on one charge of third-degree assault. The punk-hop group had just finished the first song of their Warped Tour set, “Peace Sign,” when a black-american audience member near the front row called the New York-based singer a “fucking ignorant nigger.”

McCoy calmly asked the man, “What did you just call me?” As security was removing him from the crowd, the frontman reached down and broke his microphone over the man’s head. McCoy immediately apologized for his reaction and said it wasn’t representative of him as a person. “I’m sorry. But when someone calls you something that ignorant and that offensive, you have to bash their head in with a microphone,” said McCoy. The audience cheered as the man in question was carried away by security. Local police are not releasing the victim’s name at this time.

McCoy was arrested onstage at the end of his set. He was released early this morning on $500 bond. This is not the first of Gym Class Heroes’ legal woes. In March of last year, drummer Matt McGinley was arrested in Mexico and detained over night on suspicion of breaking and entering when he drunkenly stumbled into a private condominium.

I hate that people are so stupid. I don't blame dude though. I wouldn't have reacted like that, but trust me... it wouldn't have been pretty!

DMX Arrested For the Second Time In One Week!

X is at it again! For the second time in a week, DMX was arrested in Miami, Fl. This time, for trying to buy marijuana and cocaine.

According to TMZ, X approached an undercover officer and handed him $45 for a combination of the drugs. DMX was just arrested on Monday for driving without a valid drivers license. These arrests seem to be taking on a pattern for DMX. Last month, he was arrested twice in Arizona. Once for speeding and days later he was nabbed for animal cruelty and drug charges. Dude, you need to get it together. I guess you can't turn a crackhead into contributing citizen.
