Jeezy, TI & Kanye Jump On the Video Game Band Wagon

We all saw the pics and have heard the stories and Jay-Z and Eminem being one of the driving forces behind the latest video game craze in the upcoming “DJ Hero”, and once that news broke, er'body wanted to get a piece of the pie.
Young Jeezy, T.I., and Kanye West have also garnered positions in the newest game coming out called “Rapstar” video game, a direct competitor for “DJ Hero.”
“Rapstar” will be made by the newly formed 4mm Games, a company created in part by two co-founders of Rockstar Games. In the game, a performance is recorded using cameras for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Once a song is complete, players can then take a 30-second clip and upload it to the Rapstar online community.
An Executive Vice President at the company says the game will allow fans to create “the music video of the next generation that stars you.” Other features included in the game will be a Battle mode (where players alternate rhyming lyrics to score the most points) and Freestyle mode (that lets players perform their own raps and songs over instrumental tracks).

Cassidy Stole Amber???

Anyways, so Cassidy spit the lyrics regarding the rumors over Beyonce's "Ego". Supposedly, Ms. Amber denied ever sleeping with Cassidy, but these lyrics tell another story...
“I f*cked ya girl on D-low, cause I’m that nigga and I got a bigger ego. For free yo, I let her climb on the tree yo. now she with me yo, so adios amigo. No you ain’t big as me yo. So when I hit , she said my d*ck too big, fat, wide, and thick. What I was born with is enormous, when I try to fit, she holler like ‘you got a big ego, AGH SHIT!’ And that’s why she on my d*ck, cause I got a huge ego, I’m a hero. I save the day, it’s L-O-V-E yo, she never felt that way ’till she started fucking with me yo. I took her from you like D-bo, ’cause your ass always had her going to bed mad like Ne-Yo”.”

Kanye and Amber Out For Fashion Week

Sneak of Da Week~ Louis Vuitton High Top x Kanye West

Since the last few weeks, you might have seen 4 differents colorways of 2 differents sneakers made by KANYE WEST for LOUIS VUITTON. After, red, black and white the DON LOW TOP should also comes in grey, and a "mlxed dark/light brown with a pink touch colorway". And, after the "Grey and FluoPink sole" the HI TOP sneaker should also comes in black and white. This collaboration between the french house and the american artist is really interesting and significant on the high-fashion market, and sneaker market. It means that sneaker culture and sneaker market (sportswear one) as we knew it are dead. The mass market is gonna totally absorb it. And it means also lots of things about the fact that LOUIS VUITTON wants to extend his consumer targets. LOUIS VUITTON want to have this new consumer : older with some money, and a new fashion culture.

Kanye's Girl Got'A Girlfriend!

While over at YBF.com, I was reading where there are purportedly rumors going around about Kan's new girl being a lesbian. I mean, nothing wrong with it if she is, but apparently, Amber's ex-girlfriend, who's name is Trevon, or Tre has been a bit depressed about losing Amber. Supposedly Tre was let go by Amber without warninig and coincidentally when Mr. West began paying extra attention to the blond babe. YBF reports that their source tells them that Amber and Tre (Tiffany) had been dating for two years before Kanye swept her off her feet adorning her with lavish gifts and trips that she just couldn't refuse! (Yeah right!) Kanye is said to be in love with this girl, and doesn't mind one iota that she used to be a stripper, not just once but several times over!

50 Cent Is At It Again

"That album is supposed to be a brick." 50 began mocking West's all-singing, vocoder-laced album. The two men were set to go head-to-head for the second year in a row, but the Chicago-bred producer's album was released a month early while 50's album was delayed. 50 went on to attack Lil Wayne, calling the rapper a "junkie" and "little baby."
"Wayne had a great album, but he makes a lot of records and I think he's gonna exhaust the public with his sound," he said. "He's a talented artist, but if you put us in a space where we're in competition, my consistency will break his neck."... is this dude serious? Has he not peeped his albums sales from TOS or that other crap he put out when he went against Kanye? The oooooooonly reason why he sold as many as he did when he went against Kanye was because of the hype behind the whole competition.
As most of you know, 50 has another album set to be released in early Feb... so we all know what this is about. As I have said before and I'll say it again. Stick to selling Vitamin Water 50, because rapping ain't your thing... and if you can't sell your albums off of your verbal skills, and you have to resort to attacking people... then you your damn self know that your rapping ain't worth a damn! He goes on to say, "I do this the best," 50 said as he boast about his ability to cause drama. "I'm relevant year round. To be honest with you, the reality television show [MTV's 'The Money & The Power,' which has since been canceled because it was GARBAGE] was nothing but a commercial for my album." I'll give it to him... he's got a good GIMMICK... but that's all it is. Doesn't seem to prove too profitable. The Vitamin Water deal and that whack ass Get Rich or Die Trying is how dude is getting paid! I'm sure he invests and all that crap, but who gives a damn! Sit the *uck down, and shut the *uck up 50!!! GEESH!

Kanye's On One So Damn Hard

Check out what he had to say about possibly posing nude for a mag:
“I made a decision. I wanna make popular music, but I want less fans. I want the freedom of having less fans. It’s like the freedom of having less money. If you have less money, you have less responsibility. It’s like Björk. If she wanted to pose naked, you’d be like, ‘Oh, that’s Björk.’ But if I wanted to pose naked, people would draw all type of things into it. I definitely feel like, in the next however many years, if I work out for two months, that I’ll pose naked. I break every rule and mentality of hip-hop, of black culture, of American culture.”

Kanye West Wants To Intern?

Kanye was quoted as saying , "I'm going to go and take an internship with something and just do something that's like completely normal, and just rap on the weekends.”
Well gee... I wish I could just make those kind of snap decisions and still come out on top of things. Must be nice! Seems that Ye was serious when he said this too. The New York Times says that he contacted Louis Vuitton and Raf Simons, with an internship as his starting point with the two fashion giants. As odd as it would be to see a multi-platinum artist begin another career from the bottom, it was equally astounding when West contacted Simons himself.
“I was blown away from the planet when he told me,” the 40-year old Belgian designer told the Times. In disbelief, Simons continued, “I know he’s very serious about this — I don’t take it as a joke — but how can I imagine him being my intern? It’s a very extreme situation.” Simons, who has gained notoriety as one of fashions’ current leading innovators, draws his inspiration significantly from youth culture. Although Kanye has yet to receive confirmation for either internship, he still has his own ventures going on. So we'll see if he can really humble himself to the "peon" level and be able to deal... I hope so, but I'm not banking on it!

Kanye Is Just Looking For Miss Right

Nooooo ladies... I'm sorry. You won't get the opportunity to make an ass of yourselves by vieing for "Kan The Louis Vuitton Don's" love on some whacked out reality show. That's not what this post is about. But do listen up! Kanye West is looking for Miss Right.
"I want to have kids," he tells PEOPLE. "But I want to have the right girl too – someone who really cares about me." Still, the savvy hip-hop star is no easy prey. "When I'm in a club, girls are super-calculating, planning every step," he says. West – speaking exactly a year and a day since the sudden death of his mother, Donda – said making his new album, 808's and Heartbreak, helped him deal with his sense of isolation.
It was a rough year for Kanye West. In addition to losing his mother, he broke up with his then fiancée, Alexis Phifer "It's lonely at the top," he told reporters Tuesday at a London listening party for the new album. "Losing my mom, having no woman in my life to support me – I feel like I'm on my own and can only express it through my music."
And while admitting he was "depressed and down," West said several celebrities have helped him bounce back. "I ran into Beyoncé and Paul McCartney, at the MTV Europe Music Awards and I felt comfortable," he said. "Rejuvenated."
Kanye also admitted that the passing of his mother who he considers his best friend, has profoundly changed his life. "She influenced me to do exactly what I want to do," he explained. "With my mom's passing, I learned that ... you can't let people box you in. You gotta do what you want to do." It's a subject that, for a long time, was too sensitive to discuss. "I didn't do any interviews after my mom passed, I wasn't ready to speak about [it]," he said. "Now I'd rather talk it through than commit suicide. I'm super devastated." As most of us rightfully would be with the passing of a parent.
Kanye admitted that he blames himself – or more specifically, his fame – for her death. "I feel like I moved to California, then my mom moved to California, and she did stuff she wouldn't have done if we'd stayed in Chicago," he said. "If I'd never made it in the music business, it never would've happened. I'm an alien. The only place I can be alone is my hotel room – I can't even go to the grocery store," West added. "But don't feel sorry for me – I just did a shoot for Louis Vuitton. Don't worry about me, I'll be okay in the end."
Suge Knight Is Suing Kanye West.... For What?

In August 2005, Knight was shot in the right leg at Kanye’s pre-MTV Video Music Awards party at the Shore Club, located in Miami. Initially some speculated that Knight accidentally shot himself, but that claim was later refuted after eyewitnesses confirmed that at least six shots were fired during the incident. The person who shot him was never caught.
A few years back Suge filed for bankruptcy protection in 2006, but now files this dumb ass lawsuit against Kanye West on October 30. In the suit, Knight claims West is culpable in the crime since the shooter was able to get past the party’s security with a deadly weapon. He also alleges that he not only suffered blood loss, but also lost a 15 karat diamond stud earring valued at $135,000, and had to take a private jet back to California. *Boi STOP*!!! A bone in Knight’s upper right leg was shattered as a result of the shooting and required surgery the same day he was shot.
Others named in the lawsuit include Philips South Beach (The Shore Club) and Morgans Hotel Group Management LLC. Knight is seeking damages from West which includes medical expenses from the shooting and mental anguish for “the loss of use and enjoyment of the earring.” <------He can't be serious about that one... can he? Wait... I forget who I'm talking about. My bad!
While Knight is still under bankruptcy protection, the courts have allowed him to retain a portion of any proceeds awarded from the lawsuit. Knight recently had legal troubles on his own, as the former Death Row CEO was arrested on August 27 for assaulting his girlfriend Melissa Isaac near the Las Vegas strip. That case is now in limbo due to the "mysterious" disappearance of Isaac. WHEN... will someone put this fool out of his misery?

Jim Jones Responds To "Swagger Like Us"

Jimmy has just recorded his own version of the swag laced track, with his own titled, "Jackin Swagger From Us". Jims version will feature Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne, who was on Tips song, along with a re-recorded hook from M.I.A. and a new beat by Chink Santana. Check out the interview that Jim did with Complex magazine where he talks on how he feels about being "left out" of the "Swagger Like Us" joint:
Complex: You and Juelz are all about that swag-splashing. How do you feel about not being included on “Swagger Like Us”?
Jim Jones: I think it was deliberate. I really do think it was deliberate; maybe in my sick twisted mind I’m a little crazy. People know who set the precedent as far as fashion in this industry and people know who damn near changed the world as far as fashion. You look at people, they went from the urban world of clothing, back when Rocawear and Sean John was cool. And then in the past 5 years I stepped in and gave them a taste of what rock and roll looks like from my side. I guess people would say from an urban side, and it seemed to catch on like wildfire, to the point that people was going to stores and asking for that Jim Jones look. Me and Juelz had Chink do our own beat, I have Weezy’s verse in my inbox right now and we kept the hook of that song because it was a sample. So we’re going to put that as a bonus track on the album, and put it to the streets. “No one on the corner got swag like you we don’t Rocawear that’s for fags like you.” [Laughs.]

Complex: Ahhh…
Jim Jones: And look at the Vibe cover. Tell me who Jay-Z looks like in there? Did you see the picture of him? With the Louis Vuitton scarf and all that. Who did that resemble? You can say it. But he did it wrong; he had a Gucci belt with a Louis Vuitton scarf. Who does that? You smell me? That’s like wearing one Nike and one Puma; how you going to get away with that? But I didn’t take the song as a shot, because I don’t feel like none [besides Weezy] of them possess any swag.

Complex: What about T.I?
Jim Jones: I don’t feel like he possesses any swag. Not like that. It’s fabricated. They’re watching other people, then they try and do it. You know people that dress like T.I.? You know people that go out and say let me get a T.I. outfit or do you know people who say “yo, you’re looking like Jim Jones?” Which one? Lemme hear it! When the bitches want to fuck you and the niggas want be like you, who got the swag? Niggas with money and fame always going to look like they doing something ’cause they got the camera in front of them. But the cool dudes always stick out no matter where they at.

You know what Jim... I think you're right! You are ab-so-toot-a-lutely right that you are crazy and ya mind is definitely twisted! Ain't nobody tryin to copy you dude! But my question is... are you pullin a 50 here? Trying to start some mess to sell your records? Wow! If you have so much swag... then your records would sell themselves right? So you go after everybody on Tips song, but Wayne? Why? Because you know that Wayne is damn near mentally unstable and won't give a *uck about you. Thus far, you went after Kanye, he didn't bite back. You went after Jay, no bite either. Now T.I... hmmm... you're doing some major fishing here boy! Obviously your bait ain't worth the 2cents you paid for it! Try again buddy!
T.I. Performs For Myspace.Com

Tip also gave the audience a surprise treat by bringing out Kanye West and Rihanna to help him perform some songs. Of course Rih Rih sang her hook for Tip's latest single "Live Your Life". And Kanye rode the "Swagger Like Us" beat into his own tracks. First doing a new song called "Heartless", and then the infamous "Love Lockdown"

Kanye West Mom Surgery Bill Gets Vetoed!

In addition to requiring a physical exam, the bill (written by Assemblywoman Wilma Amina Carter), would have also required patients to disclose their complete medical history and get a doctor's clearance. Citing the state's 85-day delay in passing a new budget as the reasoning, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed the bill.
In other Kanye West news, the rapper is linking his Dr. Donda West Foundation with the Live to Give Campaign to present a concert in Washington D.C. focused on community empowerment.
All of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to selected charities. For more information go to www.livetogiveback.org or call (301) 605-5324.

Kanye Pushes Up Album Release

Kanye West is definitely his own man and set's his own terms. Dude has pushed up the release of his fourth studio album 808s & Heartbreak, which was originally scheduled to arrive on December 16th.
According to his Ye's blog, it will now be released on “November something.” The reason? “‘Cause I finished the album and I felt like it.” Well! Good enough for me. I'm hoping that he came to his senses and is tired of 50 gravy trainin it off of him! HA... I love that term since that news anchor used it on Solange's whack ass!
