The Game Disses Jay and Bey

I'm so sick of these rappers and their "random" ass beefs. *sigh*. The Game was in Spain (hey... that rhymes) last week and while at a concert, got on stage and went at Jay-Z. Why? Because Jay didn't really go after game in his rap... but mentioned this raggedy ass dudes name in the song... but again... didn't diss him.

Anyways, The Game comes back and not only disses Jay... but says that every pro team in Houston has basically ran through Beyonce. DAMN!!! Check it out.

DJ Drama & Young Jeezy Keep the "Drama" Goin!

I'm hearing that it went down last night here in the A. Last night at Luckie Food Lounge DJ Drama and Young Jeezy were on hand for a little mingling and relaxation. Instead of enjoying the night with all the ladies and the fellas chillin all over the place, a fight broke out between the two hip hop heavies. Most of you already know that there has been bad blood between these two camps for some time now but last night didn't help matters. My sources tell me that Jezzy's bodyguard ended up getting stabbed several times and that Akon's younger brother Bu was locked up. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the stabbing, but as the details come in, I'll keep you guys posted.

Daz Dillinger Disses J.D. & Suge

Dogg Pound member Daz Dillinger has recorded a diss track for Dillinger & Makaveli II (The Tribute Album) dissing Jermaine Durpi, Suge Knight and Alan Grumblatt.

The song, which is titled "Fuck You Roll Call - JD, Suge Knight & Alan Grumblatt," appears on the street album, which was released in celebration of Tupac's birthday which was yesterday. Dillinger's history with the three label heads - Dupri the founder of So So Def, Knight a co-founder of Death Row Records, and Grumblatt president of E1 (formerly Koch) Records - is well-documented, as he had albums releases on all three labels.

The track is literally a roll call, with Dillinger saying,

"I want to say a big 'fuck you' to Jermaine Dupri, Suge Knight, any other motherfuckers I've had business quarrels with...Alan Grumblatt from Koch, fat fucker."

Dillinger & Makaveli II is a group project by Daz and DJ Nik Bean, consisting of new raps over a collection of beats Tupac previously used.

Trey Songz Calls R. Kelly Out via Auto-Tune Diss

Yet again... more music beef or is it? Most of the time, it's to sell records, but this time, I don't know what the motivation is behind it all. It's almost a bit unwarranted. Seems like Jay-Z has started a bit of the war of the words ever since he dropped "Death of Auto-Tune," everybody has got something to say on whether the track hits home or misses the mark.

Trey Songz takes it a step further as he remixes the track to call out the one and only R. Kelly and his use of Auto-Tune on his new mixtape, The Demo Tape.

“Remember Aaron Hall? Where the hell he at?/ Trey Songz comin’, where Kelly at?/Why be indirect/ I think he feelin’ that. He got the game sewed so he layin’ back,” Songz says as he labeled Kelly a “T-Pain copycat.” “Who you got around you, Them people tryin’ to drown you/ Put that autotune on, yo homies shoulda clowned you…Now let the track breathe, Cut them braids off, who you tryin’ to be, me?”

Although this may come off as a blatant diss, Songz was quick to give his take on the song via a recent post on http://seefurtherthaniam.blogspot.com. The vocalist, who confessed to being a big R. Kelly fan, was using the song as motivation for Kells to “to go harder” in being the trailblazer he was when he arrived on the scent rather than yield to the popular Auto-Tune trend. Hence the historical nods to Hall as well as the influence of Lenny Williams and Ronald Isley, the latter of whom he helped transform into Mr. Biggs for a new generation of fans.

Since Trey is saying that people have compared him to R.Kelly, the only question I have after hearing this track is will the real R. Kelly please stand up? Or more importantly, how long will it be before Kells hits back with a reply? So much for R&B. I guess it’s now come down to R&Beef.

Jackie-O Talks About Her Books and Beef

Miami rapper Jacki-O is a recognizable force among female rappers, especially since there aren't many in the industry as of late. But amazingly, this chick has sex appeal and charisma and often a trail of drama to go along with all of that.

Her second album, "Little Red Riding Hood", tackles some of those exact issues. Issues that have only made her a tougher emcee, which is why she has put the record label disputes and Foxy Brown altercations behind her. But she does talk about her newest venture, her tell-all book.

"I'm currently working on a book discussing the industry. I wouldn't say it's a tell-all, but in some ways it is," she says. "I don't hold nothing back in the book, I just tell the truth -- the way things are, things I've gone through, and refused to go through. Specifically, how the industry is male-dominated and tough on a female. I'm giving females that are coming in after me a heads-up."

Her story isn't without advice, though, especially for those aspiring female artists. While Jacki admits sex appeal is a part of the game, she warns not to give into pressure because there will be a lot of it. But, all the advice in the world won't prepare you because at the end of the day, it's gonna be a long, hard road.

"Sex appeal definitely plays a part in catching the eye of the fans, that's what the industry is based on for the most part, like who's the finest, who has the most jewelry -- it's very vain. Sometimes it can be a lot of pressure," she says. "The industry can be a bitch, there are a lot of things that play a part. The talent has to be there, if you ain't this bombshell. There are females who aren't talented, but they're pretty so they're able to get by. Then, there are some who aren't pretty, but they're talented, and they're able to get by. It's forever a struggle."

Jacki-O has endured all these same barriers before she was able to make it through the industry's red tape. Today, the rapper is not only promoting a new book, but also a new album. Little Red Riding Hood featured a more in-depth look at Jacki's life and career, as well as the sex-laden tracks for the late night tip. Also absent were beef-laced rhymes, which the rapper says she avoids like the plague despite some of the run-ins she's faced in the past.

"I try to stay away from the beef. Even when I came in the business, it wasn't originally a strategic marketing tool," Jacki explains. "Even when it was, I wasn't trying to get my name out there. I think that's wack, because your hard work and talent will see you through and get you out there. However when it came my way, it became a marketing tool. Beef kinda just came my way. However, it came, I embraced it, because it's all a part of hip hop, you know? It comes with the territory."

Through it all -- the beefs, the obstacles, label disputes, everything -- Jacki-O says that her inspiration is proving cynics wrong at the end of the day. "I like to see the look on their faces when they've tried everything to stop me and I endure and I continue. I love a challenge. Dirty ass Jim Jones is at it again. Still talkin cash -ish about Jay Z. My thing is... do you hear Jay wasting his breath talking mess about him? No! Jay Z knows this dude is a waste of time and space so he doesn't even bother with it. But... nonetheless, here is what Jim is sayin about Jay now:

Now that Kanye and ex-girl Amber Rose are through, rapper Cassidy has come out with a track claiming that he stole this chick from 'Yeezy! How and why would anybody dump Kanye for Cassidy? Isn't dude like 5'5? And insanely immature? Hmph! Maybe that's what Ms. Rose likes! I mean she does like pu$$y, so why not Cassidy? Nevermind nevermind!!! Some of ya'll don't get it.

Anyways, so Cassidy spit the lyrics regarding the rumors over Beyonce's "Ego". Supposedly, Ms. Amber denied ever sleeping with Cassidy, but these lyrics tell another story...

Well I'll be Jane Brown!!! Keri Hilson is steppin into the ring of beef. Keri's latest single "Turnin me On" has a remix with T-Pain and Lil Wayne that is soooooooo fi'! That's some southern slang for those who don't know, which means it's hot!!! In the remix, Ms. Keri is goin after Beyonce and Ciara. At first I thought this was just i-net gossip/rumors.... that was until I listened to the track myself!

Jackie-O Goes After Khia Again...

Yes... Friday is a very slow slow day, so I'm just reporting on anything that flies across my path.

Jacki-O has been laying low recently, but she is going to be going hard at Khia when she comes out. In the intro to her new album/mixtape, she places a call to a fake record label called “Bulls**t Records” where the receptionists voice is hilarious.

Anyway, after a quick laugh or two, it is revealed that Jacki-O is making “too much sense” and that Khia is on the label that only puts out bulls**t.

“We strive on pushing bulls**t” LOL! This skit is really funny.

50 Cent Is At It Again

Here we go again folks! More beef to sell albums. 50 Cent is once again, going after Kanye West and Lil Wayne. 50 was on Sirius Satellite Radio show Shade 45 this weekend. "I'm surprised he got away with it," 50 said when discussing Kanye West's platinum album, '808s & Heartbreak.'

"That album is supposed to be a brick." 50 began mocking West's all-singing, vocoder-laced album. The two men were set to go head-to-head for the second year in a row, but the Chicago-bred producer's album was released a month early while 50's album was delayed. 50 went on to attack Lil Wayne, calling the rapper a "junkie" and "little baby."

"Wayne had a great album, but he makes a lot of records and I think he's gonna exhaust the public with his sound," he said. "He's a talented artist, but if you put us in a space where we're in competition, my consistency will break his neck."... is this dude serious? Has he not peeped his albums sales from TOS or that other crap he put out when he went against Kanye? The oooooooonly reason why he sold as many as he did when he went against Kanye was because of the hype behind the whole competition.

As most of you know, 50 has another album set to be released in early Feb... so we all know what this is about. As I have said before and I'll say it again. Stick to selling Vitamin Water 50, because rapping ain't your thing... and if you can't sell your albums off of your verbal skills, and you have to resort to attacking people... then you your damn self know that your rapping ain't worth a damn! He goes on to say, "I do this the best," 50 said as he boast about his ability to cause drama. "I'm relevant year round. To be honest with you, the reality television show [MTV's 'The Money & The Power,' which has since been canceled because it was GARBAGE] was nothing but a commercial for my album." I'll give it to him... he's got a good GIMMICK... but that's all it is. Doesn't seem to prove too profitable. The Vitamin Water deal and that whack ass Get Rich or Die Trying is how dude is getting paid! I'm sure he invests and all that crap, but who gives a damn! Sit the *uck down, and shut the *uck up 50!!! GEESH!

Peedi Crakk Disses Jay-Z in A Sing-Song

Seems as if Jay-Z has got everybody aiming for him these days. Dude from rock group Oasis, then 50 comin out his mouth sayin Jay wasn't nothin until Beyonce, and now, we have some more Romper Room-ish mess. This one is from Peedi Crakk. The Philly kid who was who used to be one of Jay's protege's on Roc-A-Fella, but was dropped for some reason has come out with a diss song. Yes folks... a song, not a rap, but a song. No one has said why Peedi has beef with Jay, but it's gotta be over some label stuff or whatever! Even though the song is a diss track to Jay, it pours salt into the wound because it's a half assed song. Kind like, who gives a *uck about Jay so to speak! Kind of a slap in the face! But you be the judge!

T.I. & Luda Settle Their Differences

Squashing beef? For what? Doesn't beef sell records? The answer to that may arguably be yes, it does, but truth be told, is that the one an entertainer would want his success measured? By the number of enemies he had?

Forget the menial rap beefs for just one second, and let's make history and get this money just like Jay-Z and Nas did in squelching their anamosity towards one another. With that beef behind us, now two of the other biggest names in hip-hop are following in their footsteps. Ludacris and T.I. seem to have kicked their storied rivalry to the side of the road, and are pearing on Luda's new record "Wish You Would."

On a verse on the song Luda raps: "Surprise, n---a. It was bound to happen sooner or later," starting the song. "They ain't ready for this," Tip chimes in. The duo speak about people trying to violate them, and why no one can put a dent in their success.

"Yeah, I went green and 26s on the hybrid/ Smoke so much green that I can't open up my eyelids," Luda slings in his first verse. "Wake up in London, go to sleep on Atlanta time/ Still, my paint got more candy than your valentine."

"I'm fly enough to fly away," Tip raps later. "Trouble, I don't shy away/ From it, I annihilate suckas in their driveway/ In church on Sunday morning, praying 'bout what happened Friday."

'Cris and Tip have had very competitive back-and-forth for the past few years, once even appearing on the same song (Young Buck's "Stomp") and dissing each other. Last year, Tip had a well-documented physical altercation with Luda's manager Chaka Zulu during one of the events surrounding the BET Awards. Surprisingly, a few days before T.I. got arrested late last year in Atlanta, he and Luda appeared onstage together in a club, and everything seemed all love. During a recent appearance on MTV Jams' "The Parker Report," Tip told host Erik Parker that he and 'Cris did indeed have a spirited hip-hop joust at times, but that it was no real beef.

Big Boi and Killer Mike Beef Continues

More rap beefs, but this one is a bit old... not super old, but old enough. Former labelmates Big Boi of Outkast and Killer Mike, are still exchanging words of who's the boss and who ain't the boss. I like Killer Mike and everything, but Big Boi is an icon in the game. Mike is talkin waaaay to much trash to not be sellin no records. Look at the track record dude. Big and Dre are living legends. A lot of people are wondering if Big and Andre 3000 are still cool and Big Boi had this to say about their relationship:

"We're still cool. We're still doing music together. I still talk to him. He still talk to me. He's putting out his solo record after I put out mine and then we're putting out another Outkast record," Big Boi stated in regards to his relationship with Andre 3000. "All that is just fine and well. We're just growing up a little but, got different interests but still got love for the music."

When asked about his relationship with Killer Mike... not so good things were said:

"We had the label and everything. Things were going kind of good but in between, looking for distribution, things weren't moving fast enough for certain artists. So, Killer Mike came to me and said 'I think I wanna go elsewhere.' So, I said 'You can go. All the bread you owe me, all that other stuff, just wipe that tab clean. I ain't tryin' to hold no man.' I let him go do his thing. Then I started hearing rumors talkin' 'bout 'He fired his boss.' I'm like, 'How the fuck you fire a boss, nigga?'" Later, Big Boi explained that people witnessed Mike tearing down Purple Ribbon banners at showcases in Atlanta.

"I don't play that shit. So, we went to go see Killer Mike." According to Big Boi, one of the members in his entourage asked Mike to speak with them about the situation. When Mike declined, stating he'd only speak to Big Boi, he made a comment about the rest of the entourage being "flunkies." For the rest of the story click here

GZA Disses 50 Again!

Another beef to sell records? Maybe, maybe not. It's no secret that the Wu-Tang Clan co-founder GZA doesn't care for 50 Cent. And he's making it evident one more time with yet another dis track titled Paper Plate. Over a mediocre, at best type of beat, produced by fellow Wu-Tang member RZA, but it does have some pretty nice lyrics though;

"You ever seen someone who roll with Mayweather/ Rhyme like Ricky Hatton?" asks GZA, who mocks Fif's crew with the name "Flea Unit." "Smash whatever you throw, a thousand is what I'm batting/ Got a few hooks but no jabs .../ Enough to make you vogue on that cover of GQ/ Only thing missing is the sheer blouse, homie/ You see-through."

Ya'll know how I feel about these dudes that put out a dis track, then we find out they got a album droppin in the next month. Well, like I said, this may be the case with this, but these two having prior beef, speaks for itself as well. GZA's fifth solo album is slated for release on Aug 19 titled Pro Tools. I love me some Wu-Tang, but how relevant are these dudes these days?

Tony Yayo and Young Buck To Box?

This will definitely be a first in rap history and beef history as well. We may need to call HBO on this one. Tony Yayo and Young Buck may just get their wish to fight each other in a ring.

Young Buck went on XM Radio and officially challenged Tony Yayo of g-Unit to a boxing match. Here is the quote:

“As far as Yayo – [he] talking about he wanna fight? I’ll do it off of real n***a s**t. I swear on my child’s life. If they line this s**t up, where me and that n***a can go in a ring, we can put that s**t on VH1 we can make that s**t real life. I’ll have Floyd Mayweather training me. I’ll knock that n***a fat, flabby, old, non rappin’ a** out.”

Former Wu-Tang Member Is Afraid For His Life

WU-Tang Clan ain't nothin to *uck wit!!! They were sho'nuff right when the group came out with that anthem. So right to where, one of their very own ain't tryin to *uck with them.

A former Wu-Tang Clan member U-God, is afraid that associates of the group are trying to get him and he has asked the Jersey City police for protection. U-God, whose real name is Lamont Hawkins, contacted police on June 8 saying he’s suing the band for about $180,000 and he thinks that’s why various men in various vehicles have been following him from his Manhattan recording studio to his home in the Newport section of Jersey City, police said. He said that for the past two months cars with Pennsylvania, New Jersey or New York plates have followed him numerous times, but he didn’t contact authorities sooner because he distrusts police.

On one occasion he parked in the garage of his River Court building and when he walked out he saw two men get out of a car across the street, police said. One of them gestured toward his waistband as though threatening that he had a weapon, U-God told the cops. One time a driver tried to follow U-God’s vehicle into the garage, but was unsuccessful, he told police, adding that sometimes the drivers roll down a window and nod at him. The man who wrote “Kick Azz,” “I’m Talkin’ to You,” “Dance With a Gangsta,” “Ghetto Gutter,” “Rumble,” and “Heart of Stone” said he felt threatened and couldn’t take it anymore so he went to police for help.

He filed a suspicious persons report. No one has been charged, police said. U-God could not be reached for comment yesterday. U-God said he toured Europe with the Wu-Tang Clan in January and February and they owed him about $180,000, so he filed a lawsuit in Manhattan. U-God said he thinks the incidents may be in retaliation for the lawsuit. He told police he cannot identify any of the drivers that he said followed him.

Wack ass Shaquille O'Neal went onstage in New York City and freestyled a rap dissing Kobe Bryant. It was wack to me, but the crowd was cheering like this dude went hard and said some ultra superior -ish. No matter how you slice it, Shaq will never ever be a rapper and he's still bitter because his butt didn't make it to the finals and Kobe did. Of course he's still mad because Kobe threw him under the bus during his rap trial. Shaq took shots at Kobe saying that basically, Kobe is the reason why he's getting a divorce and even asked Kobe to lick/kiss his ass. I don't know which one, I was half ass listening to that crap. Admidst all this beefing drama, Kanye West has decided to go ahead and put his 3 cents in. Kanye weighed in on his blog by saying,

Soulja boy is fresh ass hell and is actually the true meaning of what hip hop is sposed to be. He came from the hood, made his own beats, made up a new saying, new sound and a new dance with one song. He had all of America rapping this summer. If that ain't Hip Hop then what is? A bunch of wannabe keep it real rappers that ain't even relevant, recycling samples trying to act like it's 96 again and all they do is hate on new shit? Niggas always talk about the golden age but for a 13 year old kid, this is the golden age!!! That song was so dope cause everything he said had a hidden meaning... that's Nas level shit... he just put it over some steel drums which is also some Nas shit if you had the 2nd album cassette with the bonus track "Silent Murder" on it. In closing... new niggas get ya money$$$$$$$$$$ Keep this shit fresh and original.... ain't no fuckin' rules to this shit and that's what real hip hop is to me

This beef stuff is really getting more and more ridiculous every day! Now 50 (yes, I said 50) year old Tracy Lauren Marrow, also known in the streets as Ice-T is calling out Soulja Boy! Of all people dude... you call out little ass Soulja Boy! Ice is featured on DJ Cisco's Urban Legends mixtape and here is what he had to say about Soulja Boy Tell'em:

F**k Soulja Boy! Eat a dick! This n***a single handedly killed Hip Hop. That shit is such garbage man,” Ice-T continues to snarl. "We came all the way from Rakim, we came all the way from Das EFX, we came all the way from motherfuckers flowing like Big Daddy Kane and Ice Cube, and you come with that Superman shit? That shit is garbage. Hurricane (Chris) take them f**king beads out of your hair n***a! Man up. You n***as is making me feel real f**king mad about this *

Young Buck... "Fuck G-Unit"

Former G-Unit member Young Buck was in Tampa Florida this weekend doing a show when a fan shouted "G-Unit -igga", Buck responded with a resounding "fuck G-Unit"!!!! I'm sure we were all waiting for this day to come; When someone other than The Game would come forward to speak up against the bully 50.

Instead of Buck continuing on to his next song, he continuted to put the G-Unit leader on blast in regards to his royalties statement that he made some months back, "When I made the statement, 'I ain't ever seen no royalty check,' I didn't say that sh*t saying that the n*gga 50 done took money from me or none of that whole sh*t. Or that the n*gga owe - I said it 'cause it's real," he affirmed. "And when I say sh*t, I mean the sh*t. He took it in a different way. I guess the n*gga felt like I'm airing out family business or whatever."

Buck still kept it goin with how he felt about 50's street credibility, "He feel like he got a whole lot 'til the n*gga hit rock bottom and he got to crawl his a** back up," he said. "The difference between me and a motherf*cking 50 Cent is that I could hit the gutter and I can get back in the streets. He couldn't go back or do the same." Before he left the stage, Buck made a promise to the audience that he was going to focus on himself and that if there is anyone else out there that plans to do business with him, they better come with more than just a handshake!
