Will Smith is definitely enjoying this timultuous ride his career is on! His latest box office hit, 'Seven Pounds' is about an An IRS agent with a fateful secret who embarks on an extraordinary journey of redemption by forever changing the lives of seven strangers. I see my old baby daddy Michael Ealy is in this flick too *mmm*. Even though I'm not a fan of the "mellow yellow" brothas... Michael could still get it!!!

More Diddy Comin At'Cha!

As if we aren't being tormented enough with constantly seeing Sarah Palin everywhere... STILL... We will never be able to get the sight of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs out of our heads either!

Diddy has been cast on a hit televison show. Seems he'll be following right behind rapper Nelly who recently appeared on the same show. Which show am I talking about... well none other than CBS' popular crime drama CSI: Miami.

On the show, Diddy will be playing a federal prosecutor according to ET, and will be appearing in not just one but possibly three epi's that are slated to air in the beginning of 2009.

In other Diddy "news", Access Hollywood posted a poll to the public asking who would they prefer to see as the first "black James Bond"?

b) Sean "Diddy" Combs

c) Terrance Howard

d) Dijimon Hounsou

I opted for the choice of Will Smith because let's face it... the brotha is sexy as hell and has that swag. True enough Diddy has the swag too, but he ain't sexy by no means! JMO!

Jaden Smith The Next Karate Kid?

"Wax On... Wax Off"! Who remembers that famous line? I sure do! One of my favorite movies as a kid to watch with my big brother was "The Karate Kid" with Ralph Macchio and the little cute old asian dude Pat Morita. Well the movie is back on.

Columbia Pictures is back in the dojo with a new version of the 1984 hit "The Karate Kid," which has been refashioned as a star vehicle for Jaden Smith, son of Will and Jada-Pinkett Smith. Of course the movie is being produced by Jerry Weintraub (who launched the original franchise) and Overbrook Entertainment's James Lassiter, Will Smith and Ken Stovitz. Will Smith, co-starred with his 10-year-old son in Jaden's first movie "The Pursuit of Happyness," which Overbrook and Escape Artists produced for Columbia.

The script is being written by Chris Murphy, and the film will shoot next year in Beijing and other cities. While the new film will be set in that exotic locale, it will borrow elements of the original plot, wherein a bullied youth learns to stand up for himself with the help of an eccentric mentor. The younger Smith, who next stars in "The Day the Earth Stood Still," is a martial arts practitioner so now he can put his moves to use on screen and show the world what he's workin with!

Everyone's other favorite couple aside from Barack and Michelle Obama, Will and Jada-Pinkett Smith are covering the December issue of Essence Magazine.

Will Smith Is Americas Favorite Star

The American people could have chosen any of the tons of celebrities out there as their all time favorite actor/actress, but they went with everybody's homeboy Will Smith. With so many celebrity stars cluttering the sky, it can be hard to pick just a few as favorites, but Parade and Entertainment Tonight have worked together to whittle the list down to ten, after asking fans to choose their top entertainers.

Will Smith, who graces the cover of Parade's Nov. 9 issue, tops the list in the #1 slot, as voted by fans. He and the others on the lineup will also be featured in an ET weekend special, airing on both Nov. 15 and 16.

“I think a large part of why I’ve been successful is that I have, essentially, a white-collar career with a blue-collar mentality,” he says. “I can never really relax. I’m always waiting to see what’s next. It’s always, ‘OK, something different is gonna happen here.’ ”

The Smiths Do Football!

The Smith family and a few family friends got together the other day for Will's oldest son Trey's football game. Will's Fresh Prince costar Alfonso Ribeiro also was in attendance. And yesterday (Sept 25) was Will's birthday and the family sent their love via sky plane with a banner that read: "Happy Birthday Will, Love All of Us." The Oscar nominee turned 40 years old!!! DAMN! And still is fine as all get out!

I promise they look like they're naturals at this. Jada with her chair for the bleachers... Will with the visor. So white pickett fenceish! I Love it!

Will Smith Denies Being Part Of Scientology

You guys remember earlier this year when the media kept saying that Will Smith and wife Jada were practicing Scientology along with their buddies, the Cruises (Tom and Katie)? Remember when I also posted the blog about Will and Jada funding a new school in suburban Los Angeles that used one of Scientology's study programs. With the school opening, the media took it as Will and Jada were making a statement. But they didn't actually make a statement.

Monday night, while on the red carpet for the premiere of "Lakeview Terrace", which Will produced, a reporter from the Huffington Post asked him a question about him giving a press conference to the group called Anonymous, which protests Scientology.

"Not exactly a press conference, but I did talk to them," he said. So, the burning question is Will a Scientologist? "I am not," he told the reporter. Even thought the school is using one of Scientology's teaching tools, Will said, "You can take different parts of things you like and put them all together."

I believe him. There are things about the Jewish community that I like, that I've learned through my supervisor, and I try to incorporate them into my lifestyle, even though I'm Christian. So, there you go!

Jada Pinkett-Smith Regets Taking Will Away

This is too cute! Jada Pinkett Smith regrets asking husband Will Smith to take a break from acting because he has become a do-it-yourself fanatic.

Pinkett Smith admits she "might have made a mistake" when she begged the 39-year-old star to take a one-year hiatus after he finished promoting his latest action flick Hancock this year (08).

She says, "It's been tricky. We just moved into the new house not too long ago and he's basically knocking walls down, he's digging up stuff. He's beating it to death... I told him, 'Going back to work after Thanksgiving may be a good idea'.But the actress insists Smith's added time with the family could lead to some promising new projects for the pair.She adds: "He decided he wanted to focus on developing projects for the family... so now it's all of these excruciating meetings about these movies and projects for the family that he wants to develop. But, you know, that's a beautiful thing that he wants to do that."

Will Smith Plays Last Pharoah

Will Smith is going to be "The Last Pharoah", which is what Variety is reporting. The Academy Award nominated actor will play a Pharoah in the Columbia drama crafted as a vehicle for Smith to play Taharqa, the pharaoh who battled Assyrian invaders in ancient Egypt.

Smith, along with his production company Overbrook Entertainment will be one of the producers for the movie. The film will focus on Taharqa and on his battles with Assyrian leader Esarhaddon starting in 677 B.C.

I'm actually looking for this to be one of the greatest epic movies to come out, along with Troy, Gladiator, 300 and the like. Will is known for his ground-shattering box office hits so I'm expecting nothing less of this one.

As of now, no release date has been announced for The Last Pharoah

Jada Pinkett-Smith Premieres New Movie

Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith, and hubby Will clown around for the cameras on the red carpet for Jada’s L.A. premiere of The Women last night. I haven't really heard much about this movie, so I guess I'll be waiting for it to come out on dvd. Jada's mom hit up the premiere too!

You can't help but love these two! Check out da size of that rock. I heard it's like 30 or so carats!
