Let The Rumors Fly: Usher Not The Father of 2nd Child?

As the world turns... I swear that's what this feels like. A new twist in the Usher and Tameka divorce sith. Seems Usher wants to test the paternity of his youngest son Naviyd. Ok... so I know he's not that damn dumb to let it go on this long if he's had doubts... but... that could have very well been the straw that broke the camels back for Ush. This mess is running neck and neck with Nas and Kelis' ridiculously messy divorce.

According to Enquirer (if you believe anything they write), Usher is hoping to tip the divorce scales in his favor by questioning the paternity of his 6 month old son Naviyd:

“The first thing Usher said was, ‘How did that happen?’ — because he was gone a lot, and their sex life was very, very limited,” a friend of the star reveals. “He’s determined to get truthful answers.” When Naviyd was born last December, Usher and Tameka, 38, were already separated. The “Confessions” star became concerned that Tameka had been unfaithful to him after friends confessed that the former celebrity stylist had “got with another man” in the early stages of her rough patch with Usher. It is a claim Tameka vehemently denies. In fact, the soon-to-be two-time divorcee insists her younger hubby is the father of her infant son and she’s ready to take the star to the cleaners for even suggesting otherwise. “She says that although they weren’t spending that much time together, they did get together for one night of passion. And that’s when she got pregnant,” the snitch whispers, adding that Tameka is “going to fight for what she thinks she should have.”

Tameka also claims in a recent court filing that despite what the reports have been saying, she and Usher have not been separated since July 2008 as Usher claims, in fact, they were “intimately together” less than a week before he started divorce proceedings, which is where the whole SURPRISE factor comes into play!

Supposedly, there is at least $80 mil at stake here and you best believe that Tameka wants 'haf... I want haf Eddie'... some of you are too young to get that!

Tameka Foster's BFF Says "Tameka Didn't Even Know"

Essence magazine caught up with Tameka Fosters best friend of 20 years Nyeisha DeWitt and lets her clear the air about a few things regarding her friends impending messy divorce. Like any best friend, Nyeisha says that she doesn't like to see Tameka hurting this way and being portrayed in a bad light in the media. She says that despite going through this ordeal, it's only obvious that Tameka still loves Usher. She also tells Essence that this whole divorce thing was a big surprise to Tameka *side eyein bff hella hard on that one*!!! C'mon now... we know when our relationships/marriages are on their last leg. Check out the interview below:

ESSENCE.COM: Many are probably wondering why you're choosing to speak now after Tameka endured a hailstorm of criticism for years.

NYEISHA DEWITT: Let me first say that I hope Tameka and Usher can salvage things as a couple. I've known Tameka since I was in middle school and she was in high school, and we've been friends since. It's not that I have to defend her or speak on her behalf as if she's done something wrong, but I simply want people to know everything they read about her isn't true. It hurts me to read the lies that people write and say about her.

ESSENCE.COM: Is it true she first learned that Usher filed for divorce after reading about it?

DEWITT: She didn't know that he was going to file. Of course, she knew that there were challenges in their relationship and had been some discord since March and was aware there were some things that needed to be worked through. But did she know that divorce was imminent? No. It was a total surprise.

ESSENCE.COM: Was Tameka also caught off guard by the images of Usher and Def Jam's Grace Miguel?

DEWITT: I don't know what it is or isn't. What I admire about Tameka is that, despite all the gossip, she isn't bitter or hardened by it. I don't know how she does it especially with children [from a previous relationship] old enough to read the lies that are written. It's like having to keep your hands at your side while someone repeatedly punches you in your face.

Next Up In Divorcee' Lane... Jon & Kate

Well... another couple is headed downs divorce lane. DAMN!!! I'm wondering... with all these divorce papers flying in the air, do I really want to get married someday??? It really makes you rethink the whole idea of wedded bliss.

The latest couple is TLC's infamous Gosselin's. Jon and Kate Gosselin just filed papers for divorce according to People.com. According to the report, the papers were filed moments ago at the Bucks County Courtroom in Pennsylvania. The two have been married for ten years. They have 8 kids together, duhhhh-- hence the title of that show. There are reports claiming Jon is planning on moving to New York to live. Sources say he is considering moving into Trump Place.

What the hell??? Oh like that Jon? You better hold on to that damn money that TLC paid you and save cuz you're definitely going to need it.

Tameka Foster Sends More Dumb Tweets... On Accident

Oh 'Meka Boo... you just keep on keepin on home girl. Why don't you just stop talkin while you still have the chance. Well... wait a minute... no scratch that- You just keep the drama coming because you're giving me more stuff to talk about... and apparently you're giving Usher exactly what his attorney's need.

Let's just say that Tameka Foster is the "Twitter-Dumb" of a couple. On Wednesday, Foster went and tried to send a direct message to her friend Star Jones via the popular website Twitter.com. It obviously didn't work beccause everyone who is a friend on her list saw it... and it read:

"@starjonesesq my lawyer= horrible. Need the name/number of a good one in Atlanta,"

Recognizing her mistake -- and the fact that she just told the world what she really thinks of her divorce attorney, Randall M. Kessler, the 40-year-old, mother of five then posted another tweet asking:

"Please delete this...it was a DM mistake. Not for ppl to see. I'm sorry."

Now... she's either hella dumb and just isn't that computer savvy, or... that was on purpose and she's using it somehow to work in her benefit *thinking*... I defer to go with the former option instead of the latter on this one. One would think that Foster would have Twitter mastered by now, as she regularly uses the social networking site to misquote Bible verses and inspirational affirmations lifted from various spiritual gurus.

Guess not. This is Tameka we're talking about here.

More Details On Kelis/Nas Divorce

I'm about sick and tired of Kelis. I totally understand that you are pregnant and you claim that Nasir Jones cheated on you. Ok. We get all of that. But c'mon dude... your demands are a bit much.

As we are all very much aware of, Kelis has filed new documents in a Los Angeles court, asking her estranged husband, Nas, to pay spousal support and child support for their baby on the way. Kelis, who is expecting a baby boy on July 21, is telling anyone who will listen that she is broke and that Nas isn't willing to pay for -ish.

So what about all the money she made on her own. I'm sure she's got some stashed away somewhere??? Well, Kelis claims that she spent the money she made as a singer-songwriter in part while she attended culinary school in 2008 and on her bills. So are you saying you have NO MONEY LEFT? Hock that $200k wedding ring. That should tide you over for a while.

Kelis is asking Nas to foot the bill for a host of supplies related to the child she is carrying. Check the list out:

Oh... and she also wants Nas to pay for the Nanny that will care for their son when she goes back to work. In her court filing, Kelis reveals she earns around $21,616 a month, mostly from royalties for her past works. In her attempt to show Nas’ value, she noted he has released nine albums, worked on songs for feature films — including one starring Leonardo DiCaprio, signed a sneaker deal, produced a Mike Tyson movie and is part owner of a company called Gorillla Union.

The 30-year-old singer said in her filing that she and Nas kept separate bank accounts during their marriage and her only knowledge of his financial situation is what his business manger told her, and what she’s read in the news.

“I do not have funds to maintain our marital lifestyle or pay for our unborn child’s expenses,” Kelis said in her filing, noting those expenses tally around $80,000 a month. “My survival is based on Nas’s will at this time.”

Usher Wants EVERYTHING!

More and more details about the Usher/Tameka Foster divorce are coming to light. According to divorce documents filed by Usher this past Friday, the couple have actually been separated since July 2008. While they were going around like they were still together, they actually were not—meaning that the couple only lived as man and wife for 11 months. I guess long enough to make the two babies Usher V, and Naviyd.

The court documents read: "The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken," which means there is no going back "There is no reasonable hope of reconciliation.". DAMN!

It also has come out that Tameka hired a detective to follow Usher around to check up on his infidelity. Usher wants the right to be able to look at all the documentation Tameka has kept during the course of their marriage, which began Aug. 3, 2007. This includes tax files, paycheck stubs, bank account information and other financial records, insurance policies, real-estate rental agreements, medical records and automobile registrations.

On the more personal—and potentially acrimonious—side of things, he's also seeking copies of "notes, cards, letters, photographs, film, documents, tapes, voice recordings, gift, jewelry, clothes" or other evidence that reflects on Usher's conduct during their marriage, as well as detective reports, photos or recordings that have resulted from either "surveillance or investigation" of her onetime better half. That whole thing ties into the rumors that Tameka hiring a private investigator as stated before.

Making sure no stone is left unturned—or potentially leaked to the media, no doubt—he's also requesting copies of "any and all diaries or personal notes kept…during the course of the marriage." Finally, Usher is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their two sons together, 18-month-old Usher V and 6 month-old Naviyd Ely, saying the tots "are substantially dependent upon each party for support."

Damn... between Usher and Nas... I wonder who's going to come out on top! This is gettin good!

Kelis Is Puttin It Out There: I'm Broke!

Kelis is crying foul foul foul against her estranged hubby Nas. She says that Nas has left her with not one damn dime. Yeah... ok! Go pawn the wedding ring and then you'll have more than I would make in three years. Anyways, she says that he has not offered to pay for one dag on thing since they've broken up. Not even for the baby.

"I have run out of money."

Kelis filed legal papers claiming Nas isn't paying her support, pre-natal expenses or anything else... even though she claims he is filthy rich. Filthy??? Really? Kelis is asking the judge to order Nas to pay spousal support, child support, all pregnancy-related expenses, and one-half of all medical expenses after the child is born. She also wants $3,500 for the baby nurse after the child's birth, and $20,000 for strollers, cribs and other baby supplies.

Kelis says, "My survival is based on Nas' will at this time. If he does not want to pay for an expense, it does not get paid."

The couple got married in 2003. The baby is due at the end of this month. Kelis says she's entitled to maintain the lifestyle to which she became accustomed during their marriage to which entitles her to their five homes, fly first class, go to fancy restaurants, and on and on.

"There were many expensive pieces of jewelry such as a princess-cut diamond tennis bracelet that was recently appraised for $190,000. My engagement ring is an approximately nine-carat cushion-cut diamond solitaire. I have numerous watches...such as Cartier, Rolex, Frank Muller and Chopard."

Her lawyer, disco-queen Laura Wasser, says in a separate declaration she's asked Nas to ante up some mulah for Kelis and the unborn baby but he hasn't responded... and he probably won't.

Tameka Foster's Lawyer Speaks On Infidelity Rumors

Before all of the ugliness of this divorce hits the airwaves and our newspapers, etc... Tameka Foster's lawyer wants to clear the air about any rumors that his client was unfaithful to her husband.

Tameka Raymond's attorney is preemptively nipping in the bud any theories that either infidelity or a third party played a part in the duo's decision to divorce. "She's a great mom," Randy Kessler said. "She's been a loyal wife. She's trying her best to take the high road and not attack him."

I'm sure 'Meka Boo is looking to cash in off of her ex. And now that she has two children by him, hell... she just might. It's just sad though. Everybody knew this marriage was doomed from the beginning. When you alienate your friends, your fans, and even your own damn mama... yeah... ur karma is shot dude! But 'Meka has been cool about it all. She's been twittering here and there and hasn't had anything bad to say about Ush. Can't knock that.

Rumors Confirmed: Usher Officially Files For Divorce

Contrary to what I reported the other day, Usher actually did not file for divorce from his estranged wife Tameka Foster until today (June 12) in the Fulton County Superior Court in downtown Atlanta. Apparently Ush called around to several courts before deciding on Fulton County. I seached the net and found the actual petition to the court that Usher filed. Check it out below:

Tyrese's Ex Wife Wants More

Ummm, could somebody please fill me in on when this wedding went down, cuz I had no clue! Anyways, despite being married for just 10 months, Norma Gibson feels she still deserves some financial compensation from her soon-to-be ex-husband, singer-actor Tyrese.

The singer's estranged wife says as much in Friday's filed response to Tyrese's divorce declaration. Norma wrote, "The short length of the marriage, which Petitioner cites ad nauseam, is irrelevant--how much money Petitioner earned during the short marriage is the relevant issue. He earned roughly $800k during the ten months of marriage."

Norma also claims Tyrese has been absent in their daughter Shayla's life. "Persons in the entertainment industry always seem to have a fascinating ability to characterize their life choices as somehow different, more important and not a matter of choice, but a "requirement," entitling them to special rules and considerations."

The divorce documents also outline how unreasonable it would be for Norma to be expected to leave this marriage with no money. She says it's ludicrous for "a single mother with no family or friends, with effectively no funds whatsoever, to simply walk away from potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars simply because it is Petitioner's position she must do so."

Dwayne Wade Speaks On Divorce

Dwayne Wade recently spoke out finally about his impending divorce with grade school sweetheart Siohvaughn Funches.

When asked about the situation, Wade stated, "I keep my personal life my personal life,” Wade said. “You try to keep it as private as you can. When things leak out, it’s not always the truth. Some is. All you can do is continue being who you are. A lot of things have come out about me, and people are going to think what they want to think. But at the end of the day, no one knows what’s happened in my life to get to the point where me and my wife, our family, not being together.”

Wade and Funches have two children, and the divorce in which we speak of, actually began shortly after their second son was born right around the time when the NBA season kicked off last year. Other than what he just stated, he hasn't said much more about their relationship. I can definitely respect that! Divorce isn't easy I'm sure, especially when there are children involved.

Star Jones Finalizes Divorce

Star Jones is officially no longer married to gay Al Reynolds anymore. The former “View” co-host and her ex-husband, Al Reynolds, have finalized their divorce.

“Star Jones and Al Reynolds have reached an amicable settlement in their divorce proceeding and expect the divorce to be finalized in the very near future. Both parties are moving on with their private lives and will be making no further public comments consistent with the terms of their settlement. Thank you for respecting their privacy,” a rep for Jones said in a statement.

Back in April, Star discussed her divorce from Al, saying she would emerge “stronger” from the experience.

“Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman,” she said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

I guess it don't matter anyway because Star has moved on to her new man and Al's got his as well!

Bobby Brown Is Back... In Court

Triple B is back. Bobby Barisford Brown is back in court. This time, he's being sued by his divorce attorneys for allegedly failing to pay a $90,217 in legal expenses which covered his fight with Whitney Houston.

Filed in an L.A. Superior Court on last Friday (August 15), the complaint from law firm Phillips, Lerner, Lauzon & Jamra, claims Brown signed a written agreement stipulating that in the event of a dispute over fees, he would submit to binding arbitration to resolve the matter. The lawyers claimed to have notified Brown on numerous occasions, most recently in a letter dated June 29, that he was past due in paying the balance legal services rendered during the dissolution of his marriage, including interest on the balance. Bobby has yet to answer any of those letters.

The suit seeks a court order forcing the entertainer and sometime reality star to enter into binding arbitration with either the Beverly Hills or Los Angeles bar association to settle the bill.

Lisa Raye Get's Gangsta!

It is straight on and poppin for the Premiere of Turks and Caicos. And if it's left up to Lisa Raye, dude will definitely be impeeched (I think he can be.. I think).

It looks like the love affair between LisaRaye and Michael Misick has turned into 2008's Ike and Tina Turner. Apparently when Lisa Raye flew back to the Turks and Caicos Islands to try and salvage her marriage it got real ugly. Here's what Carribean Net News is saying:

Michael Misick, and his estranged wife LisaRaye McCoy-Misick were involved in a violent confrontation at the Premier’s mansion on Wednesday night, according to reliable sources. The fight, which reportedly occurred in the presence of a number of government officials, including the Minister for Health and Education, Lillian Been-Boyce, resulted in both Misicks seeking emergency medical attention for bites. Each has filed a police report against the other. [Source]

This is craziness. Who would have thought that it would be drawn out like this? Rocsi, girl, if you know what's good for you, you'll go in to hiding. Da Brat is going to jail and you done *ucked with her sisters man...? She ain't got -ish to lose... she'll cut ya!

According to V-103’s Ryan Cameron here in Atlanta, LisaRaye, who was banned from the main house, drove her car through a barricade at the house, parked her car and barged into a closed door meeting between the Premiere and his cabinet ministers.

Whilst it is my sincere wish to avoid unnecessary conflict, I shall not be intimidated, nor shall those individuals whose job it is to protect and represent me.

I ask that my privacy be respected in these difficult times and I believe that the people of the TCI will understand and support my wish to receive the necessary independent representation from the legal counsel of my choosing. I hope that, in time, the TCI government will come to share that view.

Although I have always been a supportive wife even in light of the very serious allegations currently pending against the Premier, there are limits even for me.

I continue to have the utmost respect for the people of the TCI who have always shown me kindness and support. I vow to continue my work amongst the people of Turks and Caicos Islands.

Until recently I had hoped that I would be able to continue to assist my husband during what will undoubtedly be difficult times ahead for him. I do not wish to have to add to his difficulties.
