Jay-Z Set To Take Stage With Lil Wayne and T.I.

You talk about explosive concerts... this right here definitely fits the bill. Yesterday (Sept 10), New York radio station, Power 105.1 made an announcement that their Powerhouse concert, which will take place on October 28, will be headlined by The Carters. No! Not Jay and Beyonce, but Jay and Lil Wayne.

The show will be held at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Which is ironic because that's the same stadium where the New Jersey Nets play, who, I might add are partly owned by Jay-Z.

All the names of the shows guests and performers hasn't been released yet, but Ne-Yo will be on the bill.

October seems to be panning out as quite an exciting month for hip hop. Let's officially name it "Roc-Tober". This time, let's put Jay-Z and T.I. on the same bill, but in a different city. How about Philly.

Power 99-FM in Philadelphia (sister station to 105.1) recently announced that Jay and the King of the South will be performing at the Wachovia Center in the City of Brotherly Love on October 24. Ne-Yo is on that bill as well, along with fellow R&B knockout-punchers Keyshia Cole and T-Pain.

And for all of my Cali peeps that visit my site, Jay is coming to you too. Jay will be playing an L.A. show as well. As I reported a few weeks back, Jay will be the main attraction for the re-opening of the Hollywood Palladium on October 15.
